"Alex," I heard a voice saying.
"Yes," I responded but added cautiously, "Who said my name?"
"You know who I am. It's me, Jonas." The voice replied, sweetly.
I opened my eyes and saw that I was lying in a hammock in Jonas's back yard. Jonas was beside me and he said, "You fell asleep."
"Oh."
"What were you dreaming about?" Jonas asked.
"I was dreaming about how life would be like if my parents hadn't died. I wouldn't have become the slave for the Jameson's. The only thing that concerned me was if I would have still fallen for you." I replied while poking his stomach.
"In my opinion, we would still be a couple because I'm hard to resist," Jonas said, casually, "But also how couldn't a guy like me not fall for a cute, sarcastic, smart, athletic girl like yourself."
I looked at Jonas and was about to kiss him when everything went black.
