When We Collided

Chapter 16

That night, I tossed and turned in my sleeping bag. Us girls were sleeping in Cecily's room, and I couldn't sleep. It was about 2am and everyone else was already sleeping. The boys were sleeping in the basement, for reasons I couldn't understand. I mean, why not sleep in Will's room? And I was pretty sure Jace had a room here too because he was here so often.

It weird sleeping in the same house as Will, and not being with him. I couldn't even count how many nights I spent with him. It was horrible, I know. Sometimes I thought that I should stop this whole thing, but I could never bring myself to. He was so captivating, and persuading, and I had fallen under his spell. I tossed and turned for another ten minutes, and finally I got out of my sleeping bag.

I walked down the stairs, and into the kitchen to get some water. When I got there though, someone was already there. A very familiar someone, with sweats on and no shirt.

"Will." I said quietly.

He turned around, and looked at me. Even in the dim light, his blue eyes glowed.

"Can't sleep?" He asked amusedly.

"Nope." I said.

"Neither can I." He said, and handed me his glass of water.

I took a sip of it, and then put it down on the counter.

"Isabelle and Cecily, they know. About us." I started.

"You told them?" Will asked.

"They forced it out of me." I said, while hopping up on the counter.

He shrugged. "That's fine. I thought they were going to find out sooner or later."

We were silent for a moment, and I tried not to stare at his abs. I hadn't touched him in almost a week, and it was driving me crazy. He was looking at me, his blue eyes blazing into my grey ones.

"We should go in the hot tub." Will said finally.

"Now? It's two in the morning." I stated.

"Who cares? C'mon, just come." He said.

I sighed. "Fine, I'll meet you outside."

He smirked at me, and I hopped off the counter. I walked up to Cecily's room, as quietly as I could. I searched for my bag, and thanked my lucky stars I had brought two bathing suits. Just as I was about to walk to the bathroom to get changed, Cecily sat up tiredly.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"Um, in the hot tub with Will." I said awkwardly.

She sighed, and laid back down. "Please don't fuck in the hot tub, I still want to use it."

I chuckled and blushed and left her room. I quickly got changed, and walked downstairs. I walked outside and Will was already in the hot tub. His eyes raked up and down my body, as I got in the hot tub. I sat across from him, and I looked at him. He was looking at me amusedly, and his eyes were bright.

"Fine, this isn't as bad as I thought." I said.

He grinned. "I told you."
