Synopsis: Just something I wrote based on a scene of Heroes Reborn.

Author's Note: This is an extra, like it says in the tittle. Trin, here you go. Stay tuned for tonight's post.

Third Person

Bombs exploding, bullets going through the air, everyone running and screaming, everything was chaos.

The petite girl running towards the closest shelter. The tall boy waiting for her with his arms open, shouting encouragement words.

She threw herself into his arms sobbing loudly into the guy's shirt, scared for her life.

The boy, holding her close and tightly, scared of losing her. One of his hands playing with her hair, trying to calm her down. The other one, lacing his fingers with hers.

The next day, the girl woke up to the sound of more bombs exploding. Terrified, she hid her head deeper in her lover's chest. Trying to block out the horrible noises that gave her constant nightmares.

"Hey, hey, hey. It's okay, we're safe." he assured her once more.

"Everything will be just fine." he kept saying.

Suddenly, everyone in the room heard knocks on the door. Even some kicks were heard.

There was a boy, whose name was Jace, running to the room where the couple and their families where.

"Quick! They're looking for the master of time and space! I'll distract them but you guys have to leave!" said the boy, trying to catch his breath.

The tall brunette boy stood up quickly at the mention of his nickname. Still holding onto the petite girl, never letting her go.

Both families left the room through the back door as fast as they could.

Once they were on the streets far away from what used to be their refuge, the boy's dad talked.

"You've got to go! Teletransport yourself to a year before."

"Dad, but-"

"No buts son. One year later you'll know what to do. Meet us here." he replied

He then turned to the woman at his right and said.

"Keep him safe, he needs to safe the world."

While the older man and woman were talking, the young brunette boy embraced his girlfriend in what would be their last hug for a while.

Breathing in her usual scent he let some tears fall down his cheeks. And so did the girl. Holding onto each other like their lives depended on it.

"GO!" they heard someone shout. With that said, the boy felt someone pulled him off of the embrace.

"Come on! We've got to go!" he heard his mother say.

The young boy had tears falling down his face. Trying to escape his mom's strong hold, the boy shouted at his loved one.

"No! I'm not leaving without you!"

The girl had tears flowing down her face, sobbing hard. Her small face was unable to keep watching the scene in front of her. She turned around, hiding her face on her mother's top.

The boy gave up after many unsuccessful tries. His mom reminded him that they were in trouble and he grabbed her shoulder, thinking of the place and time where he first met his now crying girlfriend

After what seemed like an eternity, they were in the past. The boy, not able to contain his feelings anymore, he fell to the floor where he cried his heart out.

"I left her behind. I left her behind." he said repeatedly.

Meanwhile, the girl turned around and saw that her lover was no longer in front of her. The pain in her heart only grew more and more. Her knees feeling weak, she let her body fall to the ground just like the boy.

Back to the boy, his mom lifted him from the floor. They were then met with a big man wearing a grey suit paired with a black hat and a briefcase.

He understood the teenager's pain since he once went through something similar. He took a penny out of the briefcase he was carrying and asked the pair if they wanted to forget the pain.

The boy unable to reply left his mom to make the decision. She nodded her head and both of them, the mother and her child looked at the penny. And then, it was like nothing happened, they were confused, not knowing the reason as in to why they were standing in the middle of the streets.

Author's Note: This was inspired on one of the episode in Heroes Reborn. I like this style of writing, honestly. Do you guys want me to write more in third person?
