Synopsis: The reader and Henry are best friends but his girlfriend makes him choose between the both of them.

Y/N

It's been two months since I walked away from mine and Henry's argument. The first weeks were dreadful, I was constantly sad. Once that time passed, the sadness turned into anger. By now, I'm over it.

The bell rang and I went to my Geography class. I sat down in my regular spot. While waiting for the rest of the students and the teacher to arrive, I opened my notebook and began doodling.

Class began, the teacher speaking and I was writing and drawing on a blank page. I was called a few times to answer some questions but like expected, I had no idea of the answer. Resuming my drawings, I felt a stare dig through my back. I turned around, trying not to catch the attention.

Confused, I turned my head to the left and my eyes caught his gaze. Henry was staring at me as if I had something in my face. Turning around with an annoying look, I felt a hand touch me lightly in the shoulder.

One of my classmates, Ella had a note in her hand. She then handed me it and turned back to the class. Trying not to get caught by the teacher's glance, I unfolded the paper and looked at the writing.

Can we talk? Meet me at our spot.

- Henry.

I didn't bother to turn around to give him a reply, I just folded the paper back . The hour ended and I stood up after collecting my stuff and went out the door like everyone else.

I walked back to my locker, threw my stuff inside and walked towards the cafeteria. I got my food fom the lunch ladies and sat down with my friends at our table.

"Y/N, did you hear about the rumor?" Kiera asked me.

"Which one? I swear there's a new rumor every day in this school?"

"Christine was caught cheating on Henry with Jordan."

"Not surprised at all." I said looking down at my plate while playing with the vegetables.

I then remembered Henry's note to meet in what used to be our spot. After quickly finishing my plate full of food.

"Girls, I have to go and do something quick."

"Go ahead."

I grabbed my bag from the floor, and walked out of the large room. I began to walk to the green area near the parking lot. That was Henry and I's spot, underneath a tree. I was getting closer and saw a blurry figure. As I was getting closer, I saw his figure getting clearer and clearer.

"What do you want to talk about?" I said with my arms crossed once I reached him.

"I guess you heard the news."

"Just did, yeah."

"I realized I was an idiot by pushing you away, choosing her before you, not realising the damage I was doing to our friendship." he then made a pause.

"Continue." I encouraged him.

"What I'm trying to say is, I'm sorry. I hope one day you'll be able to forgive me." he began turning around to go back to the school buildings.

I put the palm of my hand in my forehead before shouting at him.

"Apology accepted." I yelled, hoping I won't regret this decision.

He turned around and said: "What?"

"Apology accepted." I repeated.

He came up to me and without me expecting it, he lifted me up from the floor and spinned me around.

"Thank you." he said with a huge grin that no one will be able to take off.

EDIT: if you read this author's note, you'll see how i thanked you all for 400 reads and on the next chapter, i'm thanking yall for 300. but no, i didn't commit a mistake there. seeing as this is the second part, i decided to move it so that it went right after the first part. (it used to be far down). don't know if that made much sense but i hope it did.

if it didn't. this part was published way after but because this was a second part, i decided to move it so that it was right after the first, to make it look for clean and organized.
