A Morning Full of Memories | J.G. / H.M.

Synopsis: It's good I promise, just give it a chace and read it. By the way, I wrote this for Spanish.

Third Person

The bright morning light came through the drapes, reflecting on the brunette's eyes. Slowly, he stood up until she got to see the small clock on her bed table at her right, showing the numbers 8:15 AM, the actual time.

Now fully awake, the petite girl rapidly got ready, since she was a later than usual. After that was done, she climbed down the stairs and ate breakfast. About 5-10 minutes later, she finished, putting the dirty dishes on the dishwasher and heading upstairs to look for her backpack.

Right after, she walked through the cement path, looking at everything around her. Going through the small forest she observed all the animals, plants, wild life in general. At her left, there was this not so clean river, with flowing water.

It was once said that many years ago, that river was just full of clear water. So clean you could even drink from it without getting poisoned or anything like that whatsoever.

Thinking back at these stories, only brought fresh tears to her tiny face. These were the types of stories the boy told her when she was scared for life.

She looked up, in front of her a big white building. She took a depe breath before walking in, greeting the few people inside and making her way to her usual destination.

She knocked on the door, waiting for a reply but when she got no reply, she grabbed the handle in her cold hands and twisted it, revealing the spacious room in front of her.

Behind her, the door closed and she took one step foward, a small smile displayed on her face.

"Good morning, handsome..."

I wrote this for my Spanish class and decided to translate it to English. Origianlly, it was about this girl named Kelsie, whose mother landed in a coma after falling down the stairs and damaging a part of her brain.
