Synopsis: The reader was left behind in Neverland.
Y/N
Three weeks ago we were trying to find Henry on Neverland.
Two weeks ago we found him and were about to leave this place for good.
One week ago Pan took me captive and everyone left me here, forgetting about me because of their excitement of having Henry back.
Ever since, I've been on a cage that's hanging from a tree. I've been all alone on an island that lost all its colors due to the departure of Pan and his losts boys.
They forgot about me, or they just left me here by myself to die.
It's been weeks since my last proper meal. When Pan was here, I was only allowed a certain quantity of food per day, and then he left.
I've managed to catch a few fruits from the tree I was hung on, but it got to a point where I ran out of resources, not that I had many at the beginning of course.
The silence that surrounds the island is killing me. Everything is slowly dying, every plant, every sea, even the sky is loosing its color, the mermaids left just like the lost boys. I'm dying not only physically but also emotionally.
I couldn't even identify if it was day or night in Neverland anymore since the sky is so dull and undefined.
I'm slowly losing my faith of being rescued, I'm slowly giving up. Tired of trying to keep myself alive when I know no one's coming back for me, there's no way possible.
Thoughts like those invaded my mind and without noticing I fell asleep on the cold metal floor from the small cage letting out small tears fall from my eyes.
- Back in Storybrooke -
(A/N: Henry and Pan already switched bodies.)
Henry's POV:
It's been hours since I got back in my own body. Everyone's happy and glad that we got rid of Pan, but there's a small uneasy feeling on my chest, like I'm forgetting about something.
Everyone was on Mr. Gold's shop at the moment, from Emma to Mary Margaret to Hook to David.
We heard someone coming from the back of the shop and realized it was Belle with Gold next to her.
Belle ran her eyes through every single one of us with a frown on her face. At this, we all had confused looks on our faces.
"What?" asked Emma.
"You're missing someone." replied Belle like it was an obvious thing.
"What do you mean? We're all here, can't you see Belle." said Regina.
"Where's Y/N?" she asked, lifting one eyebrow.
"She's right h-" stopped Hook when he noticed that in fact, she wasn't here with us.
"We couldn't have left her behind in Neverland." I said, dragging my words.
"Now that you mention it. I don't recall seeing her on our way back." exclaimed Mary Margaret.
"You've got to be kidding me." I replied.
A few minutes passed, us discussing the fact that we couldn't have left her behind. I then saw Mr. Gold take out a small crystal ball from a container. He then began to move his hands in a weird way and we all saw how an image displayed on the sphere.
It showed what seemed to be Neverland in its worst state. Everything lifeless. It then changed and we saw a big tree. It began going down and we were able to observe something hanging from the tree's branches.
Once it all got clear, I saw that it was a cage. Looking closer, I observed a small body inside with a sad expression on my face knowing that it had to be Y/N.
After that, we all left the shop and quickly tried to find a way to go back to Neverland.
- Few days after -
We were now back on Hook's ship, all of us. On our way to save my best friend, if she's still alive.
The ship began to sail and Hook then threw a magic bean on the water, the ship getting closer to the swirl it formed.
Just before we were transported, a few words left my mouth inn a whisper.
"We're coming for you. I love you."
Y/N's POV:
One more week passed with me being here. My eyes were tired, my body no longer had any energy left. All I do now is sleep, since I can't do anything else.
Once more, I felt my eyes close one more time. Wanting it to be the last time.
Blackness overpowered me. Everything was black. I was not able to see anything but black.
I don't know how much time I passed like that until I heard some footsteps. Trying to sit down, I let out a groan and gave up, letting my body fall onto the cold metal.
My eyes began closing once again. Just as I was about to let go, I heard something hit the metal on top of me.
My eyes opened slowly at this. My vision becoming clearer by the second. I was able to form out seven figures in front of me and one next to the cage I was on. I then felt the cage falling down from the tree, my body hitting the metal.
Someone then opened it with a lot of effort and the next thing I feel is someone embracing me tighly in their arms.
"Y/N." I heard the person holding me breath out, the voice cracking. I knew it was Henry, everything about him I memorized. How his body felt around mine when we hugged. His voice. Everything in general.
Unable to speak, I just let out a small whimper.
"Come on, we're going to get you home and food."
I was then lifted from the dry floor and into someone's arms, realizing it was David. Once again, my body felt tired, more then ever and I let myself fall into a peaceful sleep, knowing that I now was save.
