Synopsis: The reader is on a cruise with Jared.

Y/N

I looked at the sight in front of me. A sigh of relief left my mouth. The orange, red-ish colors of the sky seemed to calm me down, the sun setting lightly kissed the water, reflecting on it. I felt happy and in peace.

My arms resting on the long piece of white painted metal bar that formed a balcony, head on top of my small hands.

Air entering my lungs, and then leaving my body. Everything was quiet, the sound of the water softly crashing onto the cruise's bottom was the only thing that echoed through the room.

I don't know how many minutes passed, but I do know what happened next.

I looked at the sun setting further down, close enough to hide below the water if it wanted to.

I heard some footsteps from afar, that only seemed to be getting closer by the second. I didn't bother to turn around, already knowing who this person was.

The footsteps grew louder until they stopped, feeling a presence behind me. Big arms found my body, tangling themselves around my waist.

"You were right, about the sight I mean. It is beautiful." I heard his voice say.

"Yeah." I agreed, no other words leaving my mouth.

"I meant you. I was talking about you, but the ocean's pretty as well." I turned my head to the side, only to be faced with his. I felt a tiny grin spread around my face before I closed the real small gap separating us, pecking him lightly on the lips.

We moved away, our lips disconnected, yet our foreheads remained pressed against one another.

I let out a happy sigh.

Overwhelmed.

Author's Note: I haven't posted in forever (forever more like 4 days actually) and I'm sorry about that.

School's just been really intense (even though it's our second week back). Lots of exams and homework.

Also ballet, today I had my PDD class or pas de deux which basically is when you dance with a partner. It was honestly so so so fun.
