Synopsis: Meeting Jared at the bookstore.
Y/N
I walked through the small spaces between each bookshelf that contained millions and millions of good writing printed on each page.
Every now and then holding a book on my hands. I looked at the bookshelves under the category of YA, Young Adult, and grabbed the first book that caught my eye. That happened to be An Ember In The Ashes (A/N: If you haven't read this book, you should it's overwhelming.)
I ran my eyes through the synopsis and quickly scanning some of the pages, careful not to spoil anything. I was close to finishing the synopsis when I heard a boy beside me clear his throat.
"Uh, I love that book. It's truly amazing. I love the concept of all the action it contained but still had a little bit of romance. You should uh, read it. I truly recommend it. I- sorry I was ranting again." like he said before, he ranted, which I found kinda cute.
"It's okay, don't worry about that." I reassured him. "And, I'll guess I'll give it a shot and tell you my thoughts on it if we ever meet again." I smiled.
"I'm Y/N." I said, extending my hand out to shake.
"Jared." he shook my hand, making me grin.
He returned the smile. "That would be very lovely. Just to make sure we'll meet again, here." he said taking his phone out of his pocket and handing it to me after opening the contacts app. "Put your number in it and I'll text you."
I took it from his hands and added a new contact, putting on my information plus phone number.
"There you go." I said handing it back to him. "I should be going now, but thank you for the recommendation." I continued before holding onto the books on my hands tighter and walking away, not before waving a little goodbye with a smile plastered on my face.
