Synopsis: Prom and lost friendships. That's all you need to know.
Y/N
"Nerd." I heard someone say before I was pushed to the wall on my left, making me drop all my books to the floor.
You see, this has been going on for a few months now. The bullying, I mean.
I kneeled down on the floor and then looked around embarassed when I saw everyone laughing or trying to hide a laugh but failing horribly. I turned my head back on the floor and then adjusted my glasses back on my face before beginning to collect all my stuff from the floor.
I stood up with my books pressed against my chest in one hand, using the other to brush the dust off of my pants.
I then began walking fast with my head down until I reached my locker where I put my combination in and put away the books I didn't need at the moment.
Once again, I started walking towards my first class of the day which happened to be on the other side of the school. Luckily, I got to the room a few minutes before the bell rang.
History. One of my favorite topics. Not only because I enjoy it but because in this class there's no one who call me names. It's peaceful and we're all nice to one another.
I grabbed my notebook from my bag that was hanging from the seat and opened it. I took some notes of the most important things of this topic and got called a few times to answer some questions. And before I knew it, the two hour period ended.
Right after I collected all my stuff, I put my bag on my shoulder and headed out the door and to my locker. Second period, Calculus. I groaned at this. It's not that I'm bad at it or anything. It's the fact that I share this class with everyone who make fun of me.
I walked for about six minutes until I reached the Calculus room. I went towards the middle of the room and sat in my regular spot. I realized that there were a few more minutes before the actual class began so I took advantage of it and grabbed my phone from my front pocket and began using it.
With every minute that passed, more people began coming in. About three minutes later, the room was full. Everyone on their phones or talking to their friends while we waited for the teacher to arrive.
"Prom's this Friday. Who are you attending with?" I heard someone said. My head instantly recognized that the voice belonged to Lizbeth, one of the girls from the "popular" crowd.
"Henry asked me to go with him a few weeks ago." said the "queen" of that group, Clarissa.
"You guys are so going to be Prom Queen and Prom King." exclaimed Laia, another girl from their group.
"Obviously." replied Clarissa with a bored look on her face.
Henry Mills. Son of the mayor. He used to be my best friend, key word: used. What happened you may wonder. Once we reached high school, everything changed. He began ignoring me and started hanging out with the popular crowd, leaving me behind by myself.
Lost in thought, I was brought back to Earth when I heard Clarissa talk once again.
"Oh look it's Y/N. She probably won't be attending prom since no one asked or will ask her out. I mean look at her. Who would want to go through so much embrassment when they're seen with her at prom."
"God what even is she wearing."
Once those words left the girl's mouth, I looked at my choice of clothes. I don't understand why trash my clothes, I was just wearing a dark blue sweater with light blue skinny jeans
