The cyborg blinks a couple times before shaking his head. He quickly bows to you to give you his deepest respects for you.
"I-I am so sorry for calling you that. I should have thought about it before--"
His apology was interrupted with a hearty laugh. Genos looks up in confusion to see that you were enjoying yourself.
"... (Name)?" He raised a brow, unsure if you are alright or not.
"Sensei?? Where did that come from? Ahahaha!!" Your little laughter dies out as you wiped your tears.
"Are you alright?" Genos asked.
"Of course! Why are you apologizing to me? You've done nothing wrong haha." You responded.
"But..."
"You are far too cute and innocent Genos. You make small mistakes become a big deal. You're truly one of a kind, silly. " You pat him on the shoulder to reassure him that you're back to normal. Unfortunately, he was too tall for you to ruffle his hair.
For some reason, your words moved him. He was touched by such compliment.
"I'm sorry about the sleeves." Genos bows his head.
"Don't you worry, Genos. I'll buy it for you. I'll just cut those off." You said as you helped the cyborg take off the shirt.
"We'll get these for you too. These will look great on you. I'm positive that you'll fit right into the human society." You nod as he smiled.

When you returned home with Genos, you quickly pulled out the orange shirt and cut the sleeves right off with a pair of shear scissors. You made sure that no threads were hanging loose. You had already sent Genos to put on a pair of jeans while you worked on his shirt.
"Alright! I think I fixed it. Let's put it on you, Genos." You straightened it before Genos came out of the bathroom with jeans slipped on. He approaches you in a calm manner and lowers his head for you to put the collar through his neck. He then snakes his arms through the holes you made for him. Once you shimmied the shirt down to his waist, you backed up to look at his overall appearance.
"So....." Genos spreads his arms for you to see.
"You feel comfortable?" You asked.
"Yeah."
"That's good. It looks really nice on you Genos." You crossed your arms, praising yourself for doing some good retail work on the orange shirt.
"I like it. Thank you." Genos smiled.
"I do too--"
Genos pulls you in for a surprise hug, rubbing your back to create warmth from the friction he created. He hooks his chin on your shoulder. You can feel his body heat rising against your chest area.
"I don't know what to say, (Name). Ever since I was revived, I've never been so happy." He comments, slowly rocking you left and right.
You didn't know how to respond to his appreciation towards you so you stayed quiet, trapped in his firm hold however you can see a faint light shine on his shoulders.
"If... If it's alright with you.... I want to stay like this for a while.... Just a little while."
You can feel his lips pressed on your shoulder, holding you closer to him.
You had this feeling of warmth before. Was your room always so cold? For the first time in forever, you felt as if you were reminded of someone long ago. How long has it been since you had this feeling? Your tears began to escape from your eyes, though you barely noticed. You hadn't blinked an eye. This feeling was naturally coming back to you. It felt like centuries since you were held like this. You never realized how long you've been so alone all this time. It was always so quiet in your home. Is that why you made all these clocks and music around the room so you wouldn't feel so lonely? Or was it really a hobby?
"Are you crying?" Genos asks unexpectedly to ruin your deep thoughts.
You were brought back to the world again. You gently pulled Genos away and wiped your eyes.
"Hahahahaha! I got ya!" You laughed, pointing at his chest.
"You thought that I was really crying! You fell for it!" You quickly reverted back to your old self again, thanks to Genos.
"You see, I'm very good at acting. Whether I use my fake facade to extend my time to pay my rent or make up an excuse of my tardiness at work, everyone would fall for it! But you know, the world isn't all too kind so you gotta treat the way it treats you." You quickly explained, resting your hands on your hips to show that you had quite a foolish trait added to your personality with a fake pride.
"That sounds bad. Is it?" Genos asks.
"Of course not! That's what I have to do in order to live. I gotta be a parasite to society and give them what they need in order to give me their trust and respect. An eye for an eye." You replied.
"That sounds a bit unfair."
"..... You're right, Genos." You frowned, sounding serious.
Genos noticed your sad expression and immediately attempts to cheer you up.
"But no matter what, I'll always be on your side." Genos rests his fist against his heart to show his full commitment to you.
"Even if.... I serve as a threat to society?" You curiously tested him.
".............. Yes...." Genos hesitated.
