The bald hero Saitama continues making copies of Genos's pictures with big bold words that say "HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN?". For the past few weeks, he rarely slept. He was too worried about his young pupil. And if anything happens to him, which he couldn't bear to imagine, the burden of a thousand galaxies will weigh on him.

"I gotta find him before 'they' do! He didn't die, I just know it!" Saitama clenched his fists, showing his frustration and stress.

Still, he didn't want to give up on Genos. No matter what, he had to find him somehow.

"Please have a miracle show up on my doorstep!" Saitama pleaded, throwing his hands up in the air.

The sound of urgent knocking was unexpectedly heard, causing Saitama to turn his attention to it. He hesitated to make his way towards the sound.

"Hello?! Is anybody home?"

Saitama nervously answers the door.

"Oh thank goodness I found you!" You exclaimed with glee.

"Eh? You're that girl from D-City. Or was it F-City?" Saitama responded.

"I-I...." You shed tears as you forced a smile, while you heavily breathed.

"What's wrong? You seem like you came a long way from home or something--"

You collapsed to your knees and bowed your head down, silently sobbing.

"O-Oi, what are you doing?" Saitama asked.

"Saitama! I'm so sorry that I lied to you! I was selfish and greedy and now it's all my fault! Please forgive me!" You shouted.

"W-Wait a sec, what are you talking about?" The strong man gently pulls you up to your feet, wearing a confused face.

"I was the one who found Genos and I took him away! I was the one who kept him!"

"Y-You....!! You mean you found Genos?! And you didn't tell me!?" Saitama did not raise his voice but he was deeply relieved.

"For the past few days, I've been trying to find a way to wake him up but he wouldn't! I-I think I broke him! Do you know how to fix him?" You cried.

"Calm down, where is he now?" Saitama questioned you.

"H-He's at my place right now. I left him there to find you. Please, you got to help him! He's my....." You looked down, contemplating on what you should refer to Genos as.

"You must take me to him. He's in danger now that you left his side." Saitama explained.

"What?"

"It's a long story. Right now, Genos needs to get to his doctor as soon as possible." He rests his hands on your shoulders and gave them a gentle squeeze as you nodded while wiping your tears.

"I'm glad you told me the truth. C'mon, let's go. Give me your address. I'll take us there in no time." Saitama gave you an earnest look.

"Okay." You took a deep breath and tried to rebuild your confidence but your voice came out broken.

You quickly scribbled down your address and handed it to Saitama. He reads your handwriting, having everything figured out.

"It's not too far. Good." He smiled.

"Not too far?? B-But it's all the way to C-City! It'll take about 4 days just to get there---"

"No buts!" Saitama interferes and carries you over his shoulder.

"Y-You're...?!" You didn't know what he was planning though it seems that he's done this kind of thing before.

Within the speed of light, Saitama races towards the destination. You remembered that Genos had this kind of ability as well, however, Saitama was much faster than him. You felt queasy as he steadily paced himself. Your heart dropped each time he hopped to higher buildings, one after another. You were afraid of heights so you tried not to think about your fears and kept your eyes closed. You grasped onto Saitama's cape, wrinkling the sheet.

"This is it, right?" Saitama asked as he slowly releases you.

You opened your eyes to recognize your apartment. You couldn't believe how he managed to get to your home from Z-City but that didn't worry you as much.

"Y-Yeah, let's go." You motioned him to follow you as you entered the building, rushing up the stairs.

As soon as you reached your room, you smiled, seeing that the young cyborg was still in one piece.

"Genos!" Saitama called out to his companion, approaching him.

You stood back, watching Saitama attempt to wake him up.

"Genos, I'm very sorry." Saitama raised Genos's arm, knowing that his dear student went limp.

"What's your name?" Saitama turns to you.

"(Name)..." You answered.

"(Name), thank you for finding him. And thank you again for telling me. I gotta get him back to Dr. Stench." He quickly carries Genos in his arms like nothing.

"How did you find him?" He asked.

"I found him by a river not too far from here." You replied.

"I see...."

"Saitama, what happened to Genos?"

"...... It was I who had done this to him. A new type of species planned to get rid of the entire Association. They're horrible people who manipulated Genos to turn against me. I had no choice but to fight him. He didn't behave like his usual self. No words could reach his ears. It was as if his entire system was hacked somehow." Saitama explained.

You were shocked to believe that it was Saitama himself who fought and sent Genos all the way from Z-City to C-City.

"I didn't think he'd land here. I hope I didn't damage anything." Saitama commented.

"I want you to do something for me, (Name)." He requested in a serious tone.

"... Yes?" You felt nervous as you played with your fingers.

"I don't want you to involve yourself with Genos from now on."

You hesitated to answer. You couldn't accept that. It was hard to bear. It was difficult to do so.

"The people who manipulated Genos might come and do the same for you. You will only get in harm's way if you get too close to him. For now, I want you to forget him. It's for your own safety... And I know you probably love him just as much but they are still targeting Genos and I'm going to straighten this mess. They will threaten those who he cares about." Saitama explained.

"........" You closed your eyes and opened them, feeling your stomach turn as you clenched your fists.

"Can you do that?" Saitama raised a brow, hoping you'd answer what he wanted.

"I can do it." You blinked to hide your watery eyes.

No more wishing on stars. It's time you wake up to reality.
