A couple weeks have passed and you were finally able to get off from your wheelchair and limp wherever you go in your own home. You felt like a small grain of freedom was granted. However, crutches were the next stage to a healing leg, and you hated them. As for your eye, you kept it bandaged since you felt that wearing an eye patch would make you look like a pirate or a joke. Everything was slowly coming back together again. You felt like there's nothing else you could lose but that doesn't mean you're safe. For the next few days, many news reports were constantly informing people to stay in their homes due to the countless cases of missing people. Strangely, some heroes from the Heroes Association have gone missing as well. You knew that it was the Evil Association's wrongdoing so for your own sake, you stayed indoors just like the news said. And if heroes went missing, you were definitely not going out there.
You closed your curtains and kept one lamp on by your desk, attempting to create a music box. You've been working on this project ever since Genos left you a box of unwanted materials. You find it to be quite challenging to make a simple note with a piece of paper and a hole puncher. It felt boring having to stay home all day with nothing much to do so you decided to play around with Saitama's old recording device that you managed to fix as hours passed by.
"It's been 24 minutes since my last meal. I'm starving and I've been living off of burgers."
"If you found this, I'm probably dead by now. There's a grocery store nearby. If you want to summon me, drop a burger onto my pile of ashes."
"Man, I want a burger but there's a mass alien invasion out there."
"If you found this, I'm probably the President of Alaska by now. Come find me and I'll probably give you a promotion to work under me. Don't forget to buy me a burger though."
You kept all of these ridiculous recordings to kill time yet you felt like you should record a documentary at some point in case. You took a deep breath and pressed the button.
"Hi, my name is (First)(Last) and I am 18 years old. I used to work at Aramile Cafe but I decided to withdraw due to a devastating event that occurred not too long ago. I moved to a new town and met some new people. My new home is very welcoming and warm. It's very nice to stay here. I had a super cool dad who was a scientist. He told me that he wanted to become an archaeologist someday so he goes on these adventures with his research team and found some cool stuff. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world because my dad is special. He teaches me to be strong and keep moving forward. About two years ago, he died of cancer and left me with everything. I don't need a fancy house or new furniture because I have whatever I need... My idol is Mumen Rider. I hope to become brave like him one day. Maybe I'll join the Heroes Association in the future or something, I dunno. One time, I found a cyborg--- And this was wayyy back like, a couple months ago back in my old hometown , I found a cyborg named Genos. He was extremely kind to me like, you have no idea what is going through this kid's head--he was like a super close family member of mine. I love that kid, he's great. If I ever meet him again, I'll be sure to give him this lovely little music box that I've been working on for awhile. It sounds kinda bad but that's okay, right? Welp, I'm going to finish this up and say that I am grateful for the things I have now. Even my right eye, haha."
