On their way back home, Kiloni laid her head on Chresanto's shoulder as Courtlen grew mad to himself. Finally getting home, everyone got ready for bed but yet no one was going to sleep anytime soon except Chresanto. They all had too much on their minds but Chres grew tired quickly and fell asleep in an instant. Michelle wanted to talk to Jordan about Kiloni and Courtlen wanted to tell Kiloni about Chres. Kiloni was just stuck on cloud 9, wanting to tell her bestfriend about everything.

In bed, was Jordan, watching TV. Michelle climbed into bed, next to him. "Jordan.. I wanna talk to you about something."

"Oh Lord.."

"It's Kiloni."

"What's wrong with her? It is about her running off crying today?"

"No, not that. It's more general. She's got a thing for Chres.."

"Ahh hell."

"I know you told me to keep them apart but I dunno, they just-"

"It's okay."

"It is?"

"Yea.. I mean, the boy has been nothing but good. Better than Courtlen!"

"Jordan, that's your son. Please don't start saying things like that.."

"Ahh it's whatever. All I'm saying is that the boy is alright for her. They got my blessing, but if I find out they're doing the do in my house, we're gonna have a problem."

"That's alright with me!" Michelle kissed Jordan's cheek and laid herself down to sleep. After a while, he wrapped his arm around her and fell asleep with her.

Over in Kiloni's room, she was in bed on the phone with Abby and on her laptop. She was still struck by kissing Chresanto. "Abs, tonight was unbelievable.."

"What happened this time?"

"I kissed Chres!"

"I thought y'all already did that. I heard you go downstairs last night and come back a little later."

"How did you know?"

"I uh heard you."

"Oh.. well, we almost did. I asked about him knowing Jake, then we started wrestling and we were on the floor all close and-"

"OOOOOOO did you guys get it?"

"NO! When we got close, I left. I'm still with Jake, so yea.."

"Then the hell you mean you kissed him?"

"Well, my dad dropped a bomb on us and told us he had a brain tumor.. I broke down and ran off then Chres came to help me."

"Aww.. I'm so sorry, babe. I really am."

"Thank you.. Chres just reminded me to stay strong and things will get better.. after that, it just happened. It felt right.."

"Well, look at you, Cinder-Loni! So how was it?"

"Sweet.. and his lips are soft.."

"Yasss.. so um, what about Jake?"

"I might have to break it off with him.. I like Chres more. He does what Jake doesn't. He's there for me.. and I just want him and only him."

"Oh thank God.. Jake was a bum, no offense. Like he's always busy and shit like really? And Chres is walking sex and cool so good for you."

"Honestly, no offense taken. Being around Chres made me realize how much of a bum he is. And I KNOW! The smile, the arms, the.. everything."

"Um, obviously you're a bit sprung, haha. But I gotta go do stuff for my mom. Let me know if anything happens, alright?"

"You already know I would tell you, haha."

"You right! Anyways, I'll talk to you later, Loni."

"Later, Abs." She hung up her phone and laid back onto her bed happily. Out of nowhere, Courtlen walked in.

"Ugh, what do you want?" Kiloni groaned at him. "I need to talk to you," he said, sitting on her bed. "It's about your little boyfriend downstairs."

"He's not my boyfriend!"

"Either way, I got some shit to say!" he hollered. Kiloni sat up and crossed her arms. "Well?"

"He's not who you think he is." Kiloni made a confused look. "Ugh.. okay so he told me he used to do drugs and sell it and all that so he told me he was gonna do it with me. He hasn't changed. He's still no good."

"Why would I believe you?"

"Why would I tell you this then? I never tell you shit like this." Kiloni realized he was right. Her feelings were officially hurt. The new feeling she had was that Chresanto never changed and was just another low down guy. Even though that's what she believed, it wasn't completely true.

Courtlen showed no emotion but was happy on the inside, knowing that his job was no longer in jeopardy. Kiloni on the other hand, didn't know how to really react. "Yo, you good?" Courtlen asked. "Um.. yea.. I'm just tired all of a sudden."

"Oh aight. Ima just go. Later, punk."

"Yea.." Kiloni closed her laptop and buried herself in her sheets. Courtlen turned off her lights and went to his room.

Going to his desk, preparing up a blunt, Courtlen felt sorta guilty. Even though the money is important to him, he felt bad for making his sister feel so hurt. He constantly told himself it was for the best and got the blunt ready. He put it to his lips and lit the end. Normally by now, he would be feeling easy from weed but now, the vapors did nothing because guilt was eating at him. That night he didn't sleep as well, neither did Kiloni. Neither of them didn't know what to do at this point, and Chres didn't know about any of this.
