[A/N: I deleted "Looking Forward" because that chapter kind of ruined the ending of the story. Act like you never read it because it's now irrelevant; I changed the ending. :) Keep reading and you'll see the changes, haha. As for this chapter, I rewrote some parts and added some things. Thanks for being patient, guys! Much love.]

At the hospital, Abby got alot of gifts and visitors. Some of it all was from people from her school, others were family and friends. It put Abby in a good mood, up to the point where Courtlen came to see her. That's when her whole demeanor changed.

He lightly knocked on the door and let himself in. Looking up at him walking into her room, in an instant, Abby's mood changed from happy to gloomy. Courtlen cracked a small smile and slowly walked towards her with his hands in his pockets. "Hey.." Abby looked down at her lap and twiddled with her thumbs. "Hey.." Courtlen pulled a mini stuffed bunny out of his pocket and handed it to Abby. "I got this for you.. so you can feel better and shit, ya know." Abby looked at his hand and half-smiled, reaching for it, "I don't think this can heal my bruises but thanks. I love it." He smiled back at her and pulled over a chair next to her to sit in.

Courtlen plopped into the chair, taking a deep breath. "So, have you-"

"If you're gonna ask about if I've been thinking about our arguement, then save it," Abby snapped, cutting him off. Automatically, she tensed up out of anger from Courtlen bringing drama into the room yet not even being in there for more than 2 minutes. She already knew ahead of time that was all he's been thinking about, and she was right. "Why? C'mon Abby.."

"Courtlen, I told you and I'm going to say it again. I'm not killing anything for you. I'm really not asking you to stay, you can walk out if you want. I mean, I'm not your responsibility so.."

"But that kid is so just get rid of it." Abby looked at Courtlen like he was crazy. He sounded so heartless and didn't even realize it. "Do you hear yourself? It's a baby and I'm not just gonna 'get rid of it' because you say so! This baby is mine, too; it takes two to make one, ya know!"

"Ugh.. you know what, fuck it. Keep it. I don't wanna argue so just keep it and I won't walk out, aight?"

"..wait, really?"

"Yea. All this arguing shit is annoyin' and you obviously ain't budgin' so yea. You happy now?"

"Well, yea! That was the plan all along, anyways.. you swear that you're serious about this?"

"I already said yea, damn."

A smile grew along Abby's face from the good news; "Courtlen, you better not be trying to scoot your way out of this-"

"I'm telling you! It's all good now, I swear on my mama."

"Hm.. alriiight.." Abby said, still a little suspicious, but she still smiled about it. She was glad to know in her mind that Courtlen was finally on board. In reality, he was just telling her what she wanted to hear until he had a plan to get out of this situation for good.

With perfect timing, Chresanto walked in without warning, holding a 'get well soon' bear. "Heeey-oh, my bad," he began talking. "Nah, it's all good. I was just on my way out.." Courtlen got out of his chair and walked towards the door. "I'll see y'all later, I got shit to do." Courtlen walked past Chres and left to go catch up on his own business. Chres took Courtlen's place in his chair and sat next to Abby, giving her her gift. "Is everything okay?"

"Well, the baby is but I got hurt in my arm, my head and my leg."

"Damn.. you got lucky there."

"I know, haha.. to make things better, Courtlen is being a daddy now! He wants to keep it and take care of it, finally."

"Really? That's great! What made him change his mind all of a sudden though?"
