As always, Chres was hanging out and doing his own thing when he had time for it. Sometimes, he'd be with Roshon or with Bahja; nowadays, he spent more and more time with Bahja. On the other hand, even though Kiloni was trying to be closer with Jake, she was still jealous of Chres.

After school, Jake and Loni hung out as his house on the couch while the rest of his friends and dealers hung out in the basement or outside on the porch. They sat back watching tv and eating out of a bag of chips. Jake was into to tv but Kiloni constantly checked her for anything from Chresanto. "Are you waiting for something?" Jake said under his breath, stuffing his mouth with chips. Kiloni broke out of the dazed look towards her phone, "huh, what? Nah, I'm just checking the time.."

"Every thirty seconds? It only takes sixty to get to the next minute. Whatchu' really checking your phone for?"

"Waiting for my friend to-"

"Chresanto? Hm.."

"Why you so mad?" Kiloni asked with a loud attitude. "Why you gettin' loud? I just don't like how you and him are mad close.."

"We live together, what do you expect?"

"You know what I mean, I know he likes you so you better not be tryna fuck around with him behind my back."

"You're taking this too seriously.. Just leave it alone, okay?" With his arm already her, he gripped onto her arm painfully tight. "What are you doing? Stop.. you're hurting my arm!"

"I ain't about to lose you over some bum ass foster kid. Keep this shit up and you'll regret it. Clear?" Unable to speak through the pain in her arm, Loni nodded. Jake released her arm, leaving a red imprint of his hand on her. He hugged her close and kissed her forehead, "I love you."

"..I love you too," she answered back in a scared tone. Since this was the first time Jake has done anything physically hurtful, she kept it to herself.

Later that day, Kiloni came home to an empty house. She looked around to confirm being the only one home and found a note from her dad. "Went out with your mom. Be back later." Loni knew it was from him because of the handwriting. She deeply sighed and made her way to her room; stopping her was someone ringing the doorbell. She groaned and slumped to go answer the door. Of all people, it was Bahja. They never met but Kiloni knew who she was from her hair. Chresanto once mentioned how pink her hair was to Loni.

Kiloni had on a drained out look, staring at Bahja, leaning on the open door. "Um.. hi. I'm Bahja. Does Chresanto live here or..?"

"Yup.. he lives here."

"Oh ok I thought I got the wrong house or something, hehe.. you must be Kiloni then, right?"

"Mhm.."

"Well, it's nice to finally meet you," Bahja held out her hand, waiting for Kiloni to complete the handshake. She just glared at it; Bahja made a mean face at her and put her hand on her hip. "Hm.. anyways, is Chresanto here or no?"

"Nope."

"Well, can you tell him I was here or are you gonna give him this rude treatment too?" Kiloni scoffed and tried to shut the door on Bahja. She stopped the door with her foot before it could close. "Do you have a problem with me? If so, please tell me how you could if I just met you." Kiloni reopened the door, "I hate pink. It's almost morally wrong to have pink hair."

"That sounds like a personal problem. Chresanto says you're really nice so I don't--"

"What he says to you doesn't mean you know me. He does but you don't." Bahja squinted at Kiloni for a while then started smirking. "My bad. I'm sorry for against your morals but I better get going.. I had a surprise for Chres but I guess he'll get it another time." Bahja smiled and turned around, walking down the front steps. "What surprise? I'll give it to him for you," Kiloni blurted. "Oh, that's fine. It wouldn't be the same from a different girl, trust me." Bahja turned her head back to Kiloni, winked and waved goodbye. From their interaction, Bahja knew she was jealous of all that time spent with Chres. Since Loni was being so rude about it, she used her jealousy against her to make her mad. At this point, Kiloni is practically falling apart. All the things going on in her life is making her lose her mind. Her dad, Abby, Jake, Chres, Courtlen and now, Bahja. As of right now, this possibly was the last straw for her.
