Being a supreme outcast really sucks.

Miles feels like she don't belong there. Like she's not one of them.

Why can't they just tell it to her?

"What? You won't answer?" nagpalipat-lipat ang tingin niya kay Keith at kay Jace na kapwa nag-iiwas ng mga tingin. "You really won't answer my question?" she's starting to freak out and it is just heating up the tensioned atmosphere.

Pero parang balewala lang ito sa isa pa nilang kasama.

"Ow, c'mon, Miles. It's not like they are required to tell you why we know each other." ani Jen na tinitingnan ang kuko nito sa kamay na parang wala namang araw na hindi nahahawakan ng nagma-manicure. She looks at it in a distant measurement across her face na parang make up na tinubuan ng mukha.

 

Damn, Jen could really have been beautiful. That is kung hindi lang masyadong masama ang ugali.

Even Miles was startled at what she was thinking.

 

But then, she chose to ignore it.

 

"What is your problem, Jen? It's not like I've done anything harmful nor outrageous to you." she hissed.

 

Jen stopped looking at her nails. Her eyes had a sharp and swift glance of hatred, which made Miles' mind go into rapid questions

Is she missing something here?

What a stupid question, Miles. Of course you are missing something. It might even be everything. Well, what do you know? Is your knowledge even reach half as theirs? Maybe you just don’t know anything.

 

Or maybe…maybe you just don't know everything.

 

Jen took her hands down to her sides, she faced Miles. Her face was covered with a smile, a very dangerous and sarcastic smile.

"Oh, really? You didn't?" taas ang kilay nito habang kausap siya, still smiling.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" she freaked out.

"Nothing is wrong with me!" Jen yelled back.

"What's your problem?!"

"YOU ARE my problem!" Jen's smile faded, she's shouting angrily now.

"How did I became your problem?! I don't even know you!"

Akmang susugod si Jen kay Miles, ready to slap and harass her. Pinigilan siya ni Jace at iniharang ang katawan sa daraanan niya. Hawak naman ni Keith si Miles, nakaakbay siya rito but his other hand was placed across her waist, stopping her from attacking, too.
