The building was dark and every step we took made the floor boards under us creak.
Terrified I hold onto Steve's hand as we adventure through the old possibly haunted building.
"Guys... I think we should leave." Darren says.
I nod my head - of course they don't notice that - "Let's. This place is too creepy."
"Don't be such chickens. We will look through the place before going home." Steve squizes my hand reassuringly.
Steve found a door and opened it, it was the stairs up onto the balcony.
"Can I help you three?" A man asks from behind us and we all spin around quickly.
He was tall and was almost touching the ceiling. He had dark eyes that looked like coals were just placed right in the middle of his face.
"Isn't it rather late for you three boys to be out and about?"
A vein popped out of my forehead and I almost exploded with anger but pushed it back and calmly said, "We are here to see the show.. And I'm a girl not a boy." I almost yelled the last part.
"Oh I'm sorry my apologies. I also see you are also different from most people, you have wolf ears and a wolf tail. How unique." He states. "Anyway, you three have tickets?" He asks.
"Yes," Steve says handing him his.
"Yes sir." I say handing him mine.
The man turned to Darren and said, "How about you, Darren?"Darren was about to pull it out when he stopped.
"H-how did y-you know.. know his name?" I ask.
"My name is Mr. Tall, I own the Cirque Du Freak. I know a lot of things."
He then led us to a red curtain and we went in and found a seat near the front but not too close.
Steve sat in the middle of Darren and I. Still scared and uneasy I grip onto his hand.
A couple men dragged a box that was covered up by a white sheet came out once the box was in the middle of the stage they left the stage.
Two women dressed in pretty purple dresses came onto the stage afterwards.
The took the sheet off of the box and seemed unfazed by the creature resigning inside.
A man covered in hair, a big fluffy tail, long claws, long sharp teeth - almost fangs - where slobber was just leaking. The wolf man.
Mr. Tall appeared on stage and talked a bit about the circus or what ever, I wasn't really paying attention. He then left the stage.
I assume one of the gorgeous women hypnotized it - she did a lot of weird hand movements in his face.
"Now you must all stay silent, a loud noise could wake him from his trance. Now let's begin." She said.
They let the wolf man out of his cage and then they walked it through the aisles. Steve touched it when it went by us. I was too scared to.
"What did it feel like?" Darren asks.
"Its spikey, like a hedge hog."
"I should have touched it." I say.
"I don't think that would have been a good idea, you might alarm it since your also part wolf." Darren says.
I sigh. "You've got a point."
We hear a loud BANG.
We looked back to see the a bunch of people running and screaming. The Wolf-Man was about halfway up the aisle.
