We get to this field and the boy isn't in it and the three of us are so confused.

"Where'd he go?" I ask.

"I don't know." Evra answers.

"Maybe he went home or something." Darren suggests.

"Maybe he's hiding again."

"This place is cool." Darren says, trying to get our attention away from the boy.

I look around a bit. "It is pretty cool." I smile, "If I lived around here I think I'd settle here."

"You could always do that if you want." Evra just randomly adds.

"I could, but that would be a pain. The stars look so pretty though." I grin looking up, "Oh I'll take a picture!" I take a picture of the bright sparkling stars with my phone.

Back home the starts are barely half this bright, our town might be generally small, but it sure uses a lot of light.

The picture perfectly captures the stars, the trees slightly show on the bottom, but oh well, the moon even shows in it too! Its such a perfect picture. I have to share this with Steve.

But the perfect moment is slightly ruined by the boy we were once chasing.

"BOO!" he yells.

Evra, Darren, and I scream while the boy starts laughing like crazy.

"What's so funny?!" Darren yells.

"You three sounded like girls!!" The boy laughed.

"Shut up!" Evra yells and I yell in unison.

"You could be killed us!" I say, placing my hand on my chest, trying to calm myself down.

"Wh-who are you?" I stutter while asking the boy.

"I'm Sam Grest." He laughs at my stutter.

"I'm Alicia Tux Woods, call me Tux. And I'd prefer to not be scared to death."

"I'm Evra Von." The Snake-Boy tells the kid that had to rudely screamed 'Boo' at us.

"Von what?" Sam asks.

"Just plain Von."

"Oh cool."

"I'm Darren Shan." Darren says.

"Isn't it late for you to be out?" I ask, not allowing Sam to comment on Darren as he had Evra.

"I'm not a child, besides my parents don't care as long as I'm home for dinner."

"We're about the same age anyway." Darren says.

"Yeah, you three are around the same age." The fourteen year old Snake-Boy mumble.s

I wrap my arm around Evra's shoulders.

"Don't feel left out just because you're older."

"Who said I felt left out?"

"Your face did."

"You three seem so close." Sam says. "Are you all siblings?"

"No, we're just friends."

"So, Sam, what were you doing in that bush?"

"I was watching you guys."

"Like animals?" I ask.

"No no! Not like that! I mean, I was in a way, but I was mainly just watching and wondering what you guys were doing here."

"Isn't that the same thing? Oh well never mind. We're part of a freak show, Cirque Du Freak."

"Cirque Du Freak? Freak show?"

"Yep, that's it." Evra says.

"Wow!" Sam said.

"I know right its awesome! I can't believe I'm part of such an awesome group of people!!" I laugh, getting a random out of character out burst of energy.

"Who is this?" Darren asks pointing at me.

"Is she really Tux?" Evra asks.

"Course I'm Tux!! Who else would I be?! Haha!" I yell acting like a completely different person.

"Oh Tux is being weird!! Help!" Darren yells.

I chase him around and freak him out.

"Ahh!! The imposter is chasing me, Evra help!!!"

Evra tackles me and we start laughing as the two of us tumble to the ground, landing next to each other on the soft grass and lay on our backs and stare at the pretty stars.

"Wow! Darren, come here and lay down." I pat the spot next to me.

He walks over and lays down next to me and the three of us lay there.

"Sam, don't be a stranger and join us."

He nods his head and lays down next to Darren.

"Are you guys not used to stars?"

"I'm not." Darren says, "My hone town didn't have very bright stars to see."

"I'm not used to it, the Cirque usually stops at big populated cities or towns, not country areas like this." Evra says.

I yawn, "Guys I'm gonna head back. I'm really tired." I say while sitting up and stretching before making my way back to camp.

The wolves are sitting out side of the van, knowing what's coming next.

"Sorry guys. But I have to tie you up or else Mr. Tall will yell at me for letting you loose."

"That is not true, I think it would be better if you leave them untied." I hear and get mad at that stupid voice.

I turn around to see I'm face to face with the one and only Larten Crepsley, the Family Ruinier.

"What do you mean?" I say venom seeping in my voice.

He sighs, "I see you are angry with me, I understand, but do understand I have my reasons for my actions too."

I glare at him, "Shut up, tell me about the wolves or shut up."

"Mr. Tall would not get mad, he is not that kind of a person, he is quite calm, he may be annoyed but he will not yell." Larten says.

"What do you think I should do with them then? If I let them free they'll cause havoc on the people that live near by."

"Not true, these wolves seem to be obedient to you, which is rare for wolves. Wolves do not typically stay near humans as much as these ones seem to, unless they are properly trained, which I see you have failed to do as you do not trust them. So I know they'll listen to you if you tell them to stay here."

Yeah, cause I'm gonna listen to you.

"If you say so, but if they cause any trouble I'm blaming it all on you."

"Fair enough. I have heard something along those lines before. Yours doesn't bother me as much as the other though."

"Aha, OK, I'm going to sleep now." I say walking into the van - now steaming. I get into my hammock and fall into a deep sleep, dreaming about how I wish Larten would just drop dead.
