When I awake in the morning, all I see is Darren and Mr. Crepsley, both awake... That's strange.

"What's wrong?" I ask, automatically alert by the thought of Mr. Crepsley being awake so early in the day.

Darren jumps a little at my voice and looks at me.

"Where's Evra?" I ask, running gunk from my eyes.

"Uh, this is gonna take awhile to explain." Darren says.

"Let me shorten it for you." Mr. Crepsley says. I groan knowing this could take hours. "Centuries ago there was a group of vampires that did not like the way we worked so they split apart from us and called themselves vampaneze. The vampaneze and the vampires had a war, at the end of that war was a treatie that said we can't kill each other or it would turn to war, when a vampaneze drinks they drink every last drop of blood. One of these vampaneze is here in the city, I was trying to stop him from killing too many humans, his name is Murlough, he has kidnapped Evra Von."

"Wait wait, so Evra is missing?!" I yell.

"I am sorry." Mr. Crepsley says, nodding his head.

"We need to look for Evra later."

"Well duh!" Darren snaps.

"Shut up! You should have woken me!"

"No cause we need you to be wide awake and ready to help search for Evra."

"Whatever, I'm gonna go to the park, I'll be back at six."

"Yeah, OK just leave during a crysis."

"Do not poke the bear anymore than you already have." Mr. Crepsley says, and with that I go to the park. I sit at the tree, then close my eyes and think.

"Hey, Tux." I hear.

"Leave me alone." I say without opening my eyes.

"I haven't see you for two years and this is how you speak to me?"

I open my eyes to see Ethan.

"O-Oh sorry, I thought you were someone else..."

"Tux you can stop acting I know its you..." He groans.

"I'm not acting..." I shake my head.

"Please, just let me take you home. We can be a happy family again." He grabs my wrist and pulled me up off the ground.

"No! Stop!" I yell, pulling at my arm, "Let go of me."

Some people looked at us, but I guess they thought it was just a little argument between siblings.

"Let go of me... Please." I start tearing up. "Please, just let go."

"I can't do that."

"And why not?"

"Tux, I know it's you, I don't know why you left, but I want you to come home..."

"I Refuse, I have things to do here that you don't know about. And I'm sorry, but I don't see you as my brother anymore..."

His grip on me tightens. "Fine, just tell me why everyone else is so calm?"

"Huh?"

"Tell me why mom and dad were so calm about you leaving!" He snapped.

I feel my wrist begin to bruise under his touch, "Mom knew and I guess she told dad too..."

"You're coming home whether you like it or not!"

"I DONT WANT TO!" I yell back, crying at this point.

"And why not? Don't you miss mom, dad, your friends?! You know they worry about you everyday! You're being selfish!"

"Maybe that's what it looks like to you, but if I don't stay what will become of my friend? He's been kidnapped and I don't know what to do... I'm gonna stay here and you can't do anything about it."

He glares down at me, "Tux, please come home with me."

I shake my head, "Sorry.... I can't."

He growls, "YOU SELFISH, BRAT!"

I start crying again, "I'm sorry, OK? Is that not enough for you? I'm trying to save my best friend and yo-"

"Best friend?" A vein pops in his forehead. "Some best friend they are to not tell you to go home."

"Stop it Ethan... Please.."

"I don't care about your friend or even you at this point, I just want mom and dad to smile whole heartedly again."

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry for traiding out someone elses happiness for my own..."

"What about Mr. Crepsley, Darren, Evra? Who said they wanted you to constantly tag along?!"

"They didn't, but-"

"Face it, Tux, you're unwanted here, come with me and you-"

"No." I hiss.

He sighs before releasing my arm, "Fine, be stubborn, but I'll make you regret it!" He said before walking away, angrily.

I wipe away my many tears - though they keep falling - and make my way back to the hotel, lonely and depressed, not wanting to hang out with Jack today, not after what just happened anyway...
