Right now we are searching the city for Murlough and Evra.

To another night of failure we head back up out of the sewers.

We get a new hotel since Evra might slip and tell them where we are staying. Mr. Crepsley and Darren go inside while I stand outside in the cold and think over my life choices.

Maybe I should go back with Ethan, I mean, I'm nothing compared to Darren and Mr. Crepsley.

Besides, they could easily find him without me. Its not like I am helping, if anything I am just a burden upon them.

I feel sick, I want to vomit and puke out whatever the latest meal I had was - which was actually the meal I had with Jack's family.

I hold my stomach, but doing that reminds me of Evra and I wonder if he is even being fed.

Is he getting water? Are they keeping him well fed and hydrated? Does he have a proper toilet area?!

My mind starts racing with possibilities and I vomit into a bush. I cover my mouth afterwards and quickly lean up against the wall, now pale faced and sweaty.

The bystanders atkre probably thinking I'm drunk or on drugs, I don't care if they do think that, it's just... I don't feel good.

I don't know if I'm sick from dehydration, hunger, and sleep-deprivation or if I'm just worried and anxious, but what I do know is that it doesn't matter and that I need to find Evra at all costs.

Heading up after Darren and Mr. Crepsley - still pale faced and sweating - I walk into the hotel room but am quickly attacked by the brunette that instantly saw my sorry state.

"What's wrong?!" He yells.

I smile, waving it off, "Nothing, just puked a little."

"You need some sleep, get one of the beds I'll take the couch."

"No I'm fine, I just need a small nap."

"And food." Mr. Crepsley mentions. "Also don't forget water."

Darren nods and heads into the kitchen and makes me a quick meal - some steak and a cup of water.

I smile at him and basically devour the plate having to get plenty of cups of water - which Darren happily handed over to me.

After I'm done eating I am back to my normal self, well... Slightly.

I glance our the window before quickly turning back around.

"Tux?" I hear and look to see Darren towering over me as I sit in the comfortable hotel room bed.

"Yes?"

"Are you scared?"

"Why would I be scared?"

"Put your pride aside. Are you scrared of... Never finding Evra?"

"We'll find him! That's for sure!" I say confident, to him at least, I was actually trembling, but tried hiding that from the male.

"I wish I had that much confidence."

He sits next to me. And gives me a side hug.

"We'll find him, I swear we will!" I make a shaky small smile.

"That's good to hear that one of us believe that."

"Can you tell me more about the vampaneze?"

"They tend to have purple skin, red eyes, red hair." Mr. Crepsley says.

"Oh I see... Well, I'll make sure to look out for any purple red eyed figures." I joke, "Anyway, I'm gonna go out now, Darren you coming?"

"Yeah." He follows me out of the room. When we get outside of the hotel building I go to the park and I assume that he goes to Debbie's.

I sit in my normal spot, already knowing what's gonna come next. Either Ethan or Jack is gonna walk up to me.

I was correct, somewhat, both of them came over, what a cliché.

"What?" I ask, looking up at them, then standing.

Ethan has pinkish skin and red-ish eyes. Maybe I'm over thinking it, but maybe he is a vampaneze? Wait, what Does Jack's dad do? That'd probably help since Ethan is Jacks' dad's assistant."

"Hey! You want to come over for a Christmas party?" Jack says.

"Uh, I don't know, I might be very busy." I mean VERY.

"Like what would you be doing?" Ethan asks.

"Shut up... You don't know my life, you don't know what's going on." I growl at my older...brother.

He smirks and mouths, "Yes I do."

He is a vampaneze! How did I not see this coming? It's a cliché to say the least, your brother turns out to be the bad guy, ooo.

"You're a monster." I mumble.

"I'm the monster? You left mom and dad crying their eyes out, hoping for you to come home, they might have pretended to be happy, but behind closed doors they were sad." Ethan says nonchalantally.

"You've changed in the last two years, then again so have I. At least I'm not a murderer." I whisper the last part, and I know Ethan heard me.

"I'm going back, to my hotel."

I turn away from them and was getting ready to walk away when I heard Ethan say, "Leaving just like that, huh? You haven't changed, not one bit. Running from your problems rather than standing up to them."

"I thought you wanted my happiness, you're the one that was there for me through everything after all. But clearly I was wrong, I'm sorry I had such a brother as you."

"What are you talking about?" Jack asks.

"I can't tell you, you wouldn't believe me, thanks, Ethan, for ruining my life."

"I tried helping you, two years ago when your friend was in the hospital."

"Steve? You mean that dude? Oh thank you very much for taking me to the hospital when mom or dad could have." I clap, now facing them again.

"I tried." He hisses, "You might not have think so, but I actually cared at one point!"

"Well, your clearly not trying or caring now!"

"What is even going on?" Jack asks.

"Stay away from Ethan. He'll hurt you, like he hurt me."

"I never hurt you." Ethan informs.

"Not physically, but definitely emotionally... And about Evra, I don't know where he is, or what you're doing with him, but I will find him."

"Don't worry, already one step ahead of you." He mumbles, but I ignore him and storm away.

That was so expected, me being the brat I am, I snap at them, bite their heads off, for all I know Ethan might not even be a- no he is no doubt in me that he is. The damned creature of the night, a vampaneze.
