Feelings

Michael's pov

Im gonna take Kaydan on a date tonight with no distractions. I mean with everything that has been going on , she has a lot on her plate , and I hate seeing her this way. This Abbey situation has got Kay really upset , because she believes that Abbey is doing all of this on purpose. Like hurting Luke , I believe that Abbey really likes Luke , but she's just confused. But Kay has other theories. She thinks and gets too evolved in other people's problems and that's her problem. She gets stressed out over things that shouldn't have any effects on her. So to shake things up a bit , and to get her only thinking about myself and her , I am going to take her to the mountains , and have a picnic , with pizza and Starbucks , both Kay's favorite things. Im just trying to take her mind off of all of this.

Kaydans pov

"Are you serious?" Luke asked me. I was now at home , visiting my lovely brother. I had decided to go ahead and be the one the one to tell him what had happened while he was at home.

"Yes. She said plain as day that Clayton is her boyfriend and that she isn't going to leave him because of a stupid fight." Luke groaned. Yes I hated to tell Luke this , knowing that it would break his heart , but I had to. He was led on by this girl , and she's just so nieve that she doesn't understand that , unlike Luke , he will hurt her time and time again.

Luke stayed quiet as we sat there. Ten minutes passed , and nothing was said. I was getting agitated so I finally spoke up.
"How do you feel about this?" He turned his head slightly.

"It doesn't change anything. My feelings are still the same." He shrugged.

"You're not even a little bit angry?" I snapped.

"Hell yes I'm angry. But what do you want me to do? Beat the crap out of Clayton?"

"You've done it before."

"That was when we saw him hit you , we didn't see him hit her."

"What? So now she's lying? Just a day ago , you were cuddling ans trying to protect her."

"That was when she wanted my help. She went back to him , so obviously , she doesn't want help. No matter how I feel about her. Nothing is gonna change that." He yelled and then put his head down.

"What are your feelings?" I was curious. I needed to know what he actually feels , for me to give him somewhat of good advice. But honestly , I just needed to know because he's my brother , and he's heartbroken.

"I really like her Kay. And I'm not entirely sure what to do." He sighed and started to play with his hands. I turned my whole body to face him more , and lifted his chin so he was looking straight at me.

"Well what did you tell Michael to do when I was dating Clayton and he really liked me?" This was an interesting way for me to put things because are two situations are a lot alike.

"I told him to write that song. To fight for you." I nodded.

"You just gave yourself an answer." I got up and grabbed my purse.

"Where are you going?"

"Michael's picking me up." He nodded and I walked out.

"Mikey. We just passed the college." I whined.

"That's because we aren't going to the college." I groaned and layed my head on the window.

Michaels pov

The sun was going down when we finally arrived in the mountains. A sunset would be perfect for tonight. Kaydan straightened up when she saw the mountains.

"What did you do?" She smiled.
I smiled back at her and stopped the car. I got out and went to open her door.

We walked hand and hand to the picnic. Kaydan let go of my hands and ran over to the blanket. She admired the scenery and ran to me , hugging me tightly.

"Do you like it?" She nodded quickly , pulling away from the hug and kissing me. We kept the kiss going for a good five minutes , when I pulled away.

"What?" She asked sadly.

"Nothing. It's just that , I paid a lot of money for this picnic and I am starving. So can we eat and then make out?" She giggled at my joke , which wasn't really a home but whatever.

We sat down asks started to eat pizza , when Kaydan stated to talk about Luke.

"But he wasn't even angry."

"You know when we are on a date , I really dont want to talk about your brother." I interrupted her sentence.

"What?"

"We are on a date Kay , I dont want to talk about your brother."

"Well I'm sorry I have a lot on my mind right now."

"Yeah but this date , was supposed to get your mind off of shit." I yelled. Kaydan stared at me.

"Let's go." She stood up and started to walk back to the car.
I quickly got up and got back into the car with her.

We sat in silence for a minute or two.

"You ruined this date." She stated.

"I ruined the date? More like you ruined the date."

"How did I ruin the date?"She said shocked.

"We were having a very nice time until you started talking about Luke. Why can't we have some time together , where you're not worrying about everybody else's problems." I yelled at her.

"Whatever Michael." She shook her head.

"You've been a real bitch lately. I dont know what your problem is , but its getting on my last nerves."

"So why are we even together?"

"I dont know. Maybe because I fell in love with Kaydan. Not this bitch thats in the car with me right now."

"Well do something about that." She screamed. This was the first fight Kaydan and I had ever had.

"Fine. We are through! I cant stand you anymore." I yelled looking at her.

"Watch out!" She screamed. I looked at the road right before another car smashed into us.
