Feelings

The after party

"This isn't how your party was suppose to go." Luke whined.

After I told Ashton to leave , everybody else had came back into the room. Nobody said a word about Ashton or Bryana until Luke started to whine. It seemed to me that everyone including myself thought that I had ruined my own party. I hadn't intended for this to happen. I didn't come into my own dorm room expecting her to be in there , next to him. My mind just exploded and I went crazy when I saw her.

"I'm sorry you guys. I walked in and when I saw her I just snapped. I don't even know why. I barely know her." I cried out. I was currently sitting in Michael's arms , crying my eyes out. As soon as Michael walked back into the room , he pulled me into his arms. He's always protective over me , even if we aren't dating anymore.

My little talk with Ashton didn't go well at all for me. Even if it was mostly me yelling at him. I really had thought that he liked me. That he actually thought of me as more than just a friend. But then he had to bring Bryana here. Of all places , he had to bring her to my party. My birthday party. It just doesn't make any sense.

"It's okay Kay." Calum said from in the corner. I barely noticed he was even here , from the lack of talking he had been doing.

"I think I know why you freaked out." Abbey spoke up. I looked at her puzzled. What could Abbey possibly know about me and my problems with Bryana and why I got so upset.

"Kay look at me." Michael lifted my chin up so that I was looking at him. "You know I love you right?" I nodded. "And you trust me?" He added.

"Of course Michael."

"I want you to listen to me very carefully. I love you and you will always be my first love. But we both decided to move on , and I think that you've already done that." He said slowly.

"I don't understand Michael. I would know if I was in love with someone." I laughed. "Who do you think I've moved on too?"

"Ashton." They all said in unison.

"Yeah okay. I love Ashton but that doesn't change anything if he doesn't feel the same way about me."

"He's confused Kaydan. He doesn't know what he really wants. He's told us that he has feelings for you , hell he's even told you that. But if Ashton won't admit it to himself then there's nothing we can really do. We can yell at him and try to drill it into his mind but we don't know if it's gonna work." Michael said.

"I think I know how to get him." Abbey spoke up. "You have to be happy Kaydan. Show Ashton that you're okay and happy without him." She smiled widely.

"I'm confused." Calum stood up and walked over to me and Michael and sat down.

"Kaydan has to act happy and pretend that none of this is bothering her."

"So you want me to pretend like I don't care?" I asked. Pretending like I don't care about this situation could possibly work. I'm not sure but I have to try something to get Ashton to admit his feelings towards me. He's already admitted them to me , but he's in denial to himself.

"Yeah. I'll help you through it Kay." Michael whispered to me. "I'll always help you through it."

I sighed. "This birthday sucked."
