Feelings

The call

I woke up this morning to a really intense headache , and my phone ringing.

Last night was a complete disaster , my party was ruined , and my birthday was ruined. All because Ashton thought that it would be a good idea to bring his girlfriend.

After everyone had left last night , I made the decision that I was never going to talk to Ashton again. He had made his choice , and that choice certainly wasn't me.

I rolled over , extending my arm over to my nightstand , reaching for my phone. I had some trouble finding it , which made me even more mad.

"What." I growled into the phone , when I found it. Pushing it close to my ear , I tried to focus on the call but my mind started to wonder.

"Miss. Hemmings? This is Doctor Clark , from the women's health clinic." I sat straight up , when I heard her voice. I had kinda forgot that I had ever went to the doctor. My sickness had calmed but it hadn't stopped yet.

"Oh Doctor I'm sorry. What can I do for you." I said , changing my attitude quickly. I didn't want to have a bad attitude , with someone who could possibly give me life changing news.

"We have the results of your pregnancy test." I nodded , but then stopped when I realized that she could see me.

"Okay." My heart was pounding so hard I could barely hear the doctor speak.

"Kaydan you're pregnant." The doctor informed me. "But I need you to come down to the clinic today."

"May I ask why?" I stood up from my bed.

"Well we need to check up on the baby. According to the results , it says that you've been pregnant for at least three months now." I nearly dropped my phone when she told me this.

"I'm sorry , did you say three months?"

"Yes , three months." I thought to myself for a moment. How was this even possible? Who did I have sex with three months ago? And then it all came back to me. Three months ago , a really drunk night. It was a good night , I think. I don't remember most of it , but I remember that.

"Thank you doctor , I'll be there later." And then I hung up. I didn't mean to be rude , but I had to go. I had to fix this , and tell him.

I quickly changed , grabbed my keys and before I knew it I was in front of his house. Was it bad to just show up at his door step and tell him that I'm having his baby? Maybe. But I wasn't gonna keep this from him.

"Kay?" He said as he opened the door. "Do you even know what time it is?" He looked at me as if I just ran over a kitten.

"Yeah , it's 1:30 in the afternoon." I pushed my way past him and into the house.

"But that's still early for me." He whined as he slammed the front door.

"Yeah me too but we need to talk." He sighed and pulled me up to his room.
He closed his bedroom door quietly , not to wake his parents up.

"What do we need to talk about?" He sat down beside me on the bed.

"Do you remember that one night , three months ago when we went out to drink and we ended up right back in this bed." He had a cheesy smile on his face when I finished my sentence.

"Which time?" He smirked.

"Michael I'm serious." I whined and hit his arm.

"Okay okay. Yes I remember , why?" He rubbed his red messy hair.

"My doctor called me today. A couple weeks ago , I was raped."

"What?" He screamed.

"Michael let me finish." I pushed him.

"As I was saying. I was rapping I went to see the doctor , because I wasn't feeling good. She called today and told me I was pregnant. At first I thought it was Clayton's baby."

"Clayton raped you?" He screamed again.

"Michael please stop yelling and interrupting me." I yelled this time.
He nodded and sat down.

"I thought it was Clayton's but the doctor said that I've been pregnant for at least three months." I finished.

"So ... does that mean that ... it's my baby?" He mumbled. I nodded and he put his face in his hands.

"Michael please say something , please." I begged him.

Michael didn't say anything though. All he did was hug me , which I'll take as a good sign.

"I have to go to the doctor." He pulled away and nodded.

"I'm coming." He stood up and starts do change out of his night clothes.

"Michael , you don't have to do that."

"That's my baby Kay. I'll be there through everything , for that baby and you." I hugged him
