Lapis Lauzli is the future queen of the Dark Lands. She's 18 in human years and her power is to manipulate water. She had her wings taken away from her by her mother. The reason was because Blue Diamond didn't enjoy her daughter having free will to do what she liked. Blue Diamond had the feeling to never trust Lapis. You see, Lapis had always been the mysterious type like Blue Diamond herself, however Lapis was more of the type to get into trouble of some sort and may even cause conflict with the other kingdoms. So Blue Diamond never let Lapis leave the castle.

The Dark Lands are like old fashioned time what happened years ago on Earth. With actual castles and markets. Hardly any technology and lots of forests and mountains. Kind of free spirited and peaceful.

The other lands known as Homelands and Cystal lands are more advanced with technology but not too advanced. And as for the outlands well, it's just a land of weird and unknown things.

Lapis at the moment is currently in a argument with her mother. Blue Diamond however never shouted at her daughter. Lapis on the other hand can sometimes let her emotions get out of control.

"You can't do this to me!" Lapis screamed. She watched as her mother sat before her in the queens chair.

"Lapis dear you need a Prince." She replied softly and calmly.

"Mom, I'm 18. Does it look like I really need a man right now?" Lapis never liked it when her mother arranged meetings for her and her suitors. Lapis hated them, they'd only want her to take over the land or for Lapis' looks and figure. Either way Lapis never trusted any of them.

"Then how about I get you a female suitor?" Her mother smirked. Blue Diamond always thought her daughter was gay, but neither had never admitted anything.

"For the hundredth time I am not gay! Nor will I ever be!" Lapis yelled. She took a deep breath. "If you need me, I'll be in my room and get a servant to send me my dinner, I don't feel like eating with the family today."

Blue Diamond watched as her daughter left the big, half empty room and shook her head slowly.

Sapphire, (Blue Diamonds trustworthy assistant/ protect), stood next to Blue Diamonds throne. She heard everything but she didn't dare to speak or move.

Lapis when will you accept your fate? Thought Sapphire.

Lapis slammed her bedroom door shut and jumped on her blue bed. She layed on her back thinking about everything and anything. Minutes later, a knock suddenly was heard upon the Princess's door.

"Come in." She yelled with a arm over her face. The figure stepped into the room. "Hey Sapphire." She said sensing her presence.

"Lapis. Your mother ordered me to tell you something... Important." She said quietly, holding her own hands.

"Okay." She said. Lapis wasn't interested in anything Sapphire had to say to her. She always thought Sapphire was a fraud and that she couldn't tell the future, yet her mother trusts Sapphire with her life.

"I have looked into your future. I can't tell you anything that'll give it away, so I will give you a clue." Lapis scoffed and turned over to lie on her stomach.

"A girl as green as grass will cross your path
and the two will meet by chance,
you must lock your window before 12 tonight
Or else you'll have a lover for life."

Lapis had no idea what her mother's crazy protector was saying and stopped listening to her after she said 'cross your path.' To Lapis it was all bull crap, but to everyone else they took every word in with care.

"You have been warned Lapis." She whispered and left the room and shut the door behind her. Lapis lifted her head up to see if Sapphire had left.

"Finally." She said and jumped off her bed to write in her journal.

What did she mean green as grass?

****

To Sapphire and Blue Diamond, they didn't think it was a bad thing for the green stranger and the Princess to meet. Sapphire saw more to the eye of anyone else, because Sapphire knew the two will fall deeply in love. That is if everything goes to plan.
