Three weeks have pasted since Peridot had "moved" in with the Royals at the dark lands.

The fresh August air hot against ones skin. The weather was hot for once and the dark lands were actually more brighter than usual.

Lapis took in some fresh summer air, currently located on her balcony watching the town beam with sunshine. Too bad the princess couldn't leave the castle. It would be days like these that Lapis would try to escape the most. Although ever since Peridot had arrived, Lapis had forgotten about the whole idea of freedom.

"Lapis?" Called out a familiar voice. Lapis turned around to see no other than Peridot standing by the entrance of Lapis' room. Lapis let out a small giggle due to Peridots hight making her look like a child from the distance.

"Yeah Peri?" Peridot had strangely grown used to that nickname and seems to not care anymore, so Lapis would address her by her nickname now.

"I was thinking... It's a nice day, so maybe we could go outside? Hit the town, maybe go shopping?" Lapis could tell that by now Peridot had gotten bored to the daily routine in the castle just as much as Lapis have.

The princess let out a tired sigh. "I'm sorry Peridot. I wish I could leave the castle but I can't. Mother won't let me, she says I'll cause trouble or something."

"Oh... I see." Peridot lay down on the Princess bed, obviously bored.

The two stayed quiet not wanting to ruin the peaceful silence. Lapis positioned herself against the wall with arms crossed, thinking about an escape plan, while Peridot was on Lapis' bed with arms spread out wide.

Lapis was so bored and began to think about something other than escaping.

Maybe we could do something fun that doesn't involve sports or physical activity... Oh I know! Truth or dare!

Lapis' eyes began sparkle at the thought and quickly grew a smile. "Hey Peridot, how about we play truth or dare?" Peridot stood up and shrugged. "Yeah okay. You go first."

"Truth or dare?" Questioned the blue gem.

"Uhm... Truth." Lapis held her head in a thinking position and squinted one eye. Truth ay? Hmm. Oh i got one!

"What's your favourite colour?"

"Uh green? I thought that was obvious." Peridot looked down at her self. She was wearing her normal green and black outfit and skin colour is light green.

"Haha I guess... Your turn." Lapis sat down next to Peridot on her king sized bed.

"T or D?" Asked the blonde one.

"I'll go for dare."

"Okay I dare you to... Let me tickle you for 60 seconds." Before Lapis could process the sentence Peridot had already tackled her down on the bed and began tickling the Princess' sides.

"P-Peridot, haha, sstop i-it." Cried Lapis full of laughter and tears of joy.

"Nope. Not for another 40 seconds."

Peridot kept tickling the Princess until it was time to stop. When the two calmed down they realised the position they were in. Similar to last time.

Peridot was sitting on Lapis' waist holding down her arms which were above the Princess' head. While Lapis was trapped underneath the green gem. Peridot blushed a deep shade of green and her heart began to beat faster.

Peridot has began to felt more of these feelings towards Lapis during the last week. The peasant would always have an urge to kiss the Princess but would back out due to lack of bravery.

Oh god... I have a crush on the Princess...

"Uhm... You can get off me now..." Peridot felt her blush heat up even more, while she let go of the Princess beneath her and sat besides her. Lapis got up and leaned against the bed bored.

Peridot sat in silence hugging her knees to her chest. For Peridot it was alot to take in, the fact that for the last week she's been actually crushing on the Princess, but most importantly discovering her true identity as a gay gem...

Lapis broke the long silence and the two continued to play the game for the rest of the night. Discovering new things about eachother, the only thing they didn't know is that the 'thing' Sapphire told them about was actually working.
