10 years later.

Lapis walked down the aile. Her heart pounding in her chest. She let out a deep breath and continued walking. Familiar faces on either side of the pues. Her clothing was white and she was the most beautiful person in the church. But not as beautiful as her girlfriend Peridot, or should I say future wife?

Lapis walked up the little steps and stood infront of Peridot a huge smile on both of their faces. Peridot was dressed in a black tux, looking so cute and handsome all at once. Lapis blushed as the reader began to speak.

"We are gathered here today to unite the Princess and the Peasant in the bonds of matrimony."

Moments later he stopped and turned to Lapis.

"Do you Lapis, take Peridot to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Peridot turned to Lapis with a sweet smile and hope in her eyes. The blue gem's heart was pounding in her rib cage.

She simply smiled and said, "I do." Peridot felt like crying happy tears as the Priest turned to her.

"And do you Peridot, take Lapis to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

Peridot bit her lip and said, "I do."

"By the authority vested in me, I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

The priest left the stand, while Lapis bend down to Peridots hight. Without hesitation Peridot connected her lips with Lapis' and the audience cheered. Church bells rang as the two let go. Lapis spreaded out her arms and Peridot gladly jumped in them. Lapis carried her wife in her arms braidle style as they left the church.
