Chapter 30: Its over

Meanwhile, Sapphire was in the other guest room looking into the future.

"Give it up Yellow Diamond! You can't win!" Shouted Rose Quartz. Roses' and Blue Diamonds army was surrounded by Yellow Diamonds soldiers.

They are not going to loose...

"You really think you can beat me?" Yellow Diamond chuckled. She was really enjoying this, she found it quite amusing.

On the other hand, Pearl and Garnet were injured pretty badly. They were on their way back home to rest.

We're going to loose...

"Now are you going to give me my Peridot?" Yellow Diamond smirked.

Oh my stars! That's it!

Sapphire jumped out of her bed and ran to the next room knocking on the door loudly and waking up the sleeping Lapis, Peridot and Blue Pearl.

"Huh? What? Peridot?" Lapis woke up surprised to see Peridot in her arms. A laugh was heard in the background. It belonged to Blue Pearl. Lapis looked over at her sister and gave her a death glare while Sapphire smiled devilishly. Since when did Sapphire open the door? And since when did Peridot return?!?! Thought Lapis.

"I-it's not w-what it looks like!" She stuttered as she let go of the green gem.

"That's not why I'm smiling my dear." Sapphire walked closer to the beds with excitement. "I have been looking into the future and I know what the missing peice is!"

Lapis rubbed her eyes tiredly. "Which is...?"

"You! And Peridot!"

"Ya wot." Asked the Green Gem. Peridot had been gone for approximately 4 weeks and was quite unfamiliar to what's been going on.

Sapphire grabbed them both by the wrists and dragged them out of bed. "Come with me! And Blue Pearl I need you too, come on!"

"O...kay..." She replied quietly, getting out of bed and following the mysterious small blue gem.

*About 30 minutes later*

Sapphire had dragged the three girls out of bed in the middle of the night. Pearl and Ganert had returned to the temple safely, Steven and Amethyst couldn't join Sapphire and the others because they had to stay with Pearl and Garnet.

"Sapphire it's like 1 in the morning and we're all still in pyjamas!" Complained Lapis.

"hush." Replied a cold Sapphire.

The futher they walked they began to see two armies. One wearing yellow and the other wearing pink and blue. Rose and Blue Diamond could be seen defending the town.

Sapphire stood forward and pulled Peridot infront of her by the green gems wrist. "Over here you butt!" She shouted, catching Yellow Diamonds attention. A smile growing on the Yellow beast.

"Ah, Peridot you're here. Nice of you to join us." She said sweetly, but it didn't last long. "Guards! Get her!"

Sapphire walked back pushing the two Princess's behind her, leaving Peridot to stand on her own.

What is she doing?!?! Thought Lapis and Peridot.

Guards from Y.D's army came marching around Peridot. She felt small and helpless. Lapis bit her lip. She couldn't take it anymore. Sapphire called for Lapis' attention in a whisper.

"Lapis I need you to feel as useless as possible and when Peridot is one step away from death... Let it all go." Lapis looked at the blue gem infront of her.

Is she serious?!?!?!

The oldest Princess took in a deep bresth of air. She had no idea what she was doing but it was working. She felt her body working with her mind. Everything felt alive. Lapis looked at Peridot. She had been handcuffed and on her way for execution. Lapis felt a bolt run through her body and to her gem and suddenly she was flying.

Fyling?? Lapis looked down at her self. Everything seemed normal. And then she realised it. She got her wings. The flying blue gem looked down at Sapphire.

"They were never taken away from you. You just had to believe!" She shouted. "Now go save your girl!" Lapis nodded and flew over to the guards. She landed on the ground.

I can do this, this is easy. She smiled and put one hand in the air, a huge water hand three times the size of Lapis appeared out of a puddle next to her.

"L-Lapis!" Screamed a surprised Peridot. Yellow Diamond turned around to see what was going on. She signed when she saw the blue gem.

"What is it now Lapis?" She asked casual as if there wasn't a huge war going on. Rose and Blue Diamond smirked at what Lapis was doing.

"What is it this time? Are you joking me right now? You're trying to kill my..." Lapis bit her lip. "My girlfriend because she had the courage to stand up to you about love?! Then you go out and cause a huge war about if?!" Lapis shouted taking Yellow Diamond by surprise. Peridot had escaped the guards grasps by now and had run over to her Lapis.

Lapis smiled at Peridot and Peridot retuned the smile. The Princess leaned forward and planted a kiss on Peridots green gem. Yellow Diamond gaged at the sight.

"And what do you know about love?" Lapis looked over to her girlfriend and Peridot nodded.

"Apparently more than you!" Lapis replied back.

"Ready?" Whispered Peridot.

"Ready." Replied Lapis.

"YOU CLOD!" They both screamed in unison. Lapis pushed her arm forward and turned it to the left. And lastly curled her fingers up.

The giant water hand came forward so fast Yellow Diamond didn't see it. The next thing she knew was that she was being strangled. Yellow Diamond gasped for air but failed and she poofed back into her original form. The guards ran away and abandoned the area in fear. Blue Diamond, Rose, Sapphire and Blue Pearl came forward and cherred on Lapis and Peridot. Lapis felt strong, she felt free.

Rose broke away from the victory huddle and picked up Yellow Diamonds gem, and bubbled it.

"She's not going to cause us anymore trouble." She replied with a smile.

"Who's going to be Queen of the Homelands?" Asked Blue Diamond. They all turned their heads to Sapphire.

"Okay uhm..." Sapphire went silent, in deep thoughts of the future. "Blue Pearl." They all gasped.

"Me?!" Shrieked Lapis' sister.

"Yes you. You are kind, strong, and will turn out to be a powerful leader... Just don't do anything stupid." Blue Pearl smiled at Sapphires words.

"I won't." They all cheered again, heading back to the Crystal lands with smiles on their faces.
