It's been two days since Lapis and Peridot had kissed, and to be honest none of them had the courage to do it again... (Not yet anyways)...
Lapis sang as she wrote in her journal. Tapping her pen to the rhythm.
Dear Diary,
Peridot likes me back! I can't believe it... I literally can't believe it! We kissed too, and boy it was amazing, my first kiss! I was thinking... It's been two days since the kiss and I was thinking maybe Peridot and I could go on a date... Yeah that sounds quite nice. ^_^ got to go now Diary!
-Lapis LauzliLapis closed her book and locked it away. She was excited because, if you hadn't guessed it already, Lapis was gonna ask Peridot out on a date, possibly a picnic since it's a lovley day in the Dark Lands.
Peridot walked into Lapis room and sat on the Princess's bed. "Hey Lapis." She smiled. Lapis spun around on her chair to face her green friend.
"Hey Peri, I was think maybe you might want to go on a picnic with me?" Lapis gave Peridot a sweet smile and some puppy dog eyes.
Nugh, this girl is killing me...
"F-fine..." Peridot stuttered nervously.
"Awwww yeahhhh! Let me ask to cooks to fill a picnic basket for us." Lapis got out of her chair and tiptoed over to her friend sitting on their bed. She kissed Peridot on the cheek, causing the green one to blush. "Be right back Peri~" Said Lapis in a sexy tone as she left the room.
Peridot lay back on the bed.
Yep, I'm dead. She killed me with her cuteness...
*Time Skip: To the Picnic!*
"Lapis, *huff*, this is, *huff*, exhausting!" Complained an out of breath Peridot.
"Nuh uh, It's amazing! The sky is blue, it ain't windy, the grass is dry and I'm here with my favourite person." Lapis smiled at the gem slowly walking up the hill, which is their destination.
"I'm done." Peridot placed the basket on the floor. The green gem laid down on her stomach next to the basket, and casually buried her face in the grads. Lapis giggled at her foolish friend, and sat down next to her.
"Get up Peri, you're missing the view."
"I am the view." Mumbled the green gem even though Lapis couldn't hear her. Peridot forced herself up and properly sat next to her friend with the picnic basket inbetween them.
"So... We going to start eating...?"
"Yeah, sorry I was just admiring the view." Admitted the Princess as she pointed to the town below them. Peridot smiled at Lapis' positively.
*Timeskip to after the picnic because writer (me) is lazy*
"Did you hear that?" Lapis nudged her sleepy friend. "Huh? What?" Asked a confused Peridot. Lapis pointed to the direction of the un human sounds.
"It sounds like..." Lapis couldn't tell for sure, but the words were at the tip of her tounge. "... We should follow it."
"What?!" Peridot began to freak out, this was ment to just be a nice evening with her girlfrien- I mean best friend, yeah... Best friend.
"Oh come on don't be scared Peri." Lapis nudged her friend again, which caused Peridot to scoff.
"I'm not scared Lapis, but don't you think it's a little late?" Asked the green gem as she crossed her arms.
"Nah, it's only like 3 pm, now lets go!" Lapis stood up and streched, dragging her friend up with her. The two were now ready.
"Now come on, an Adventure awaits us!" Enthusiastically shouted the excited Blue Gem, probably scaring the creature that was making noise away.
*Timeskip: 1 hour later*
"T-there it is!" Shouted the Princess while pushing some braches and bushes out of her way. Peridot was slowly behind her, complaining about the wilderness and how muddy the forest was. The two had been chasing this 'thing' for an hour or so now. While Lapis was having the adventure of her life Peridot was having the worst time of her life.
"Lapis are you sure we aren't lost?" Peridot complained as she brushed some leaves and bugs off her arms.
"I'm sure... Oh my stars... It's so big and hairy..." Lapis' eyes turned into stars while Peridot looked at the princess in a confused manner.
"Wait... Big and hairy?!" Peridot began to freak out. Animals crossing her mind:
What if it's a tiger? A wolf? A cheetah? Oh dear diamond why did i go along with this?!
"...and pink?" Lapis asked and she pointed towards the creature which was not far from them.
"Wait... Pink?" That doesn't sound threatening... Thought the small green gem.
"There it goes!" Lapis said as she grabbed Peridot by the hand and dragged her further into the forest.
When the two reached their destination, they were stopped by a wired fence.
"It went over there. There's no turning back now, come on Peri I'll give you a leg up since you're short." Lapis locked her hands together and bent over, but the other gem did not participate in the leg up activity.
"Something wrong Peri?"
"Lapis are you crazy?! Do you know what could be over that fence?! We could be trespassing on enemy property!" Lapis rolled her eyes at the green gem and stood up straight while unlocking her hands. She knew that Peridot was right, but this was the most fun she's had in years.
"Oh come on Peri~ Don't be a wet blanket." Lapis walked over to her friend and gently held her chin and kissed the green gem on the lips.
"L-Lapis!" Peridot tried to say but it came out as a mumble. Lapis let go of Peridot, a smirk across her lips.
"Wha-why did you.. B-but?" Peridot was confused and blushing dark green.
"Now will you come with me?" Lapis pleaded.
"You think that a kiss will make me-" Peridot was interrupted by another kiss. "Lapis we aren't even-" Peridot was cut off again by another kiss.
"F-fiiiine! I'll go!" Lapis shrieked with excitement.
"Come on, come on!"
When the two finally got over the fence, they pushed through some bushes and a giant women came into veiw....
