Chapter 15: Stay

Sapphire had been banished from the Dark lands and sent to the Outlands. In Blue Dimonds point of view, if any of two gems that weren't meant to be together, shouldn't be together. However she was allowing Peridot and Lapis to be together but that was a different story. Ruby was also sent to the Outlands to die for her acts upon the rare Sapphire.

"Who is it?" Called Blue Dimonds voice. The queen was stressing out. Without Sapphire she was useless. No one could tell her when the other kingdoms could attack. No one to tell her what's going to happen to her daughters.

"It's only me Mother." Replied one of her Daughters voice.

"Come in Pearl." Blue Pearl stepped into her mothers study. "What is it dear?" Questioned the Queen. Even though Blue Dimond was stressed out she tried her best to stay calm for her family. "Yellow Dimond is at the entrance of the castle..." Whispered Blue Pearl quietly.

"Yellow Dimond is... What?!" Blue Dimond rushed out of her chair and rushed over to the window to her right.

Outside stood Yellow Dimond and about 8 of her guards.

No, no, no, this can't be happening. Why is she here? This is just great. This is all i need.

"Uhm... Mother are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Just tell your sister and Peridot to stay in the panic room, just incase things get out of hands. Hurry and be safe." Blue Pearl nodded and ran out of her mothers study. Blue Dimond speed walked downstairs and opened the front door, with about 3 Rubys and 4 guards behind.

"Ah Sister, It's so good to see you." Smirked Yellow Dimond.

"Why are you here?" Asked Blue Dimond calmly.

"One of my guards reported a sighting of our missing... Prisoner in your town yesterday." Yellow Dimonds smile faded.

"Peridots... Your prisoner?"

"Yes. She was sent to the Outlands to die but she escaped and managed to find her way here." Yellow Dimonds face showed pure disgust as she looked around the place.

Blue Dimond couldn't believe it. After all this time... Peridot was just another escaped Prisoner...

"Now, just hand her over to me and me and my guards will leave." Even though Blue Dimond wanted to hand over the gem, she also knew for a fact that Lapis will fall in love with the green gem. The queen didn't want to crush her daughters feelings. Blue Dimond sighed.

"No."

"Thank you- Wait, what do you mean no?" Asked Yellow Dimond.

"I mean no, you can't have Peridot."

"Listen here sister, I want my prisoner, and I want it to die."

"Why do you wish such thing upon such an innocent gem?"

"Innocent?! Ha she thinks the green gem is innocent." Yellow Dimond laughed along with her guards, finding the statment funny. This only made Blue Dimond angrier.

"The Peridot was a mistake. She was accidentally made. One of my workers made her by accident. Luckily only creating one. I then decided on studying how a Peridot thinks. So i watched her. How she ate. How she slept. I wanted to know how she thinks. I had grown attached to the gem after some time. I gave her limb encantments with a built in log. Everything was fine until the brat decided to double cross me because I punished some gems for lets say publicly expressing their love."

"So you want her dead for standing up for love?"

"... Still! The Peridot was an accident and I want her dead. And since you won't hand her to me easily. Prepare for war. Sister." Yellow Dimond blew her sister a kiss as she began to walk away.

"I'll get that Peridot one way or the other." With that Yellow Dimond and her guards disapeared into the misty air.

"Do you think it's safe?" Asked Lapis. The three gems were in the "panic" room, a small room built in the basement.

"I hope mothers okay..." Sobbed Blue Pearl. Peridot was about to speak but was interrupted.

"Girls, you can come out now. It's safe." Blue Dimonds calm voice was heard and Lapis opened the door.

"Mother!" Yelled Blue Pearl and Lapis in unison.

"We were so worried, we though auntie was going to kill you." The girls hugged their mother tightly.

"Why was she here?" Asked Lapis.

"She wants Peridot..." Lapis parted from the hug and looked over at the green gem with big sad eyes.

"... Peridot I'm afraid If I don't hand you over to Yellow Dimond... She'll declare war on us."

Peridots eyes widened... This was it... She was going to die soon...
