It was finally morning, well it's actually 11:52 AM. The sky was gloomy and dark like how the dark lands are supposed to be. Blue Diamond had let the girls sleep in since she known that this would happen. So the Princess and Peridot were fast alseep, in the same position as they fell in.
Peridot was the first to wake up. Mumbling words like "clods," and "Yellow Diamond". She lazily opened one eye and immediately closed it. She began to rub her eyes, and reopened both of them. Peridot tried to move but couldn't.
What the...?
Peridot pulled her head up, only to see Lapis' head resting on the green gems chest while the princess's arms were wrapped around Peridots stomach. Peridot began to blush at the sight.
Oh my diamond... She's so cute...
Peridot also noticed that they both had slept in their ball dresses. The green gem shrugged that off for now and began to try and remember anything from the previous night. She tried and tried but she could only recall meeting Steven and his family, it all went black after she met Garnet. Peridots head began to bound from all the previous alcohol.
I'm never drinking again...
The Princess shifted above the green gem. Peridot awkwardly stayed still.
"P-Peridot?" Lapis slowly opened her eyes with a small yawn. "What happened last night?" Lapis closed her eyes again and snuggled Peridot. "This pillow is so soft Peri~" Lapis smiled as she hugged the "pillow" tighter.
"...uhm... Lapis..?" Peridot was blushing dark green. I can't believe she thinks I'm a pillow...
"Yeah Peri?" Lapis opened her eyes and looked next to her, but Peridot wasn't there.
... Wait a minute... Thought the Princess. Lapis began to blush, still looking to her side. She immediately knew what she was doing and jumped back and released her friend.
"Eeep!" Squealed the Princess. Lapis sat up, sitting on the green gems legs. Peridot stayed in the same position, trying not to complain about the Princess sitting on her legs, but she began to breathe slower.
"We didn't do... You know, did we?" Lapis' blush caused Peridot to blush too.
"N-no, well at least I don't think so..." Peridot turned her head, refusing to make eye contact with her crush. "Y-you can g-get off me now..." She managed to let out.
"Uh, sorry... Uhm Peridot?" Lapis got off her friend and sat besides her.
"Yeah Lapis?" Peridot slowly sat up sitting besides the Princess.
"I have something I need to tell you..." Lapis took a deep breath. "Since these last few weeks I've discovered something about my self that I didn't think I'd be and... W-well, I discovered that I..."
This is it...
"... I l-like you!" She almost shouted. Lapis was feeling frustrated with herself for having to shout it out.
"Like a friend?"
"N-no! Like romantically and stuff..." She said crossing her arms in frustration and looking away from Peridot. The green gem froze.
What do I do? What do I do?!
Peridot reached her hand out to Lapis' face and held her cheek causing Lapis to turn her face to face Peridot. Without hesitation Peridot smashed her lips on the Princess'. Lapis was shocked but soon kissed back. The two kissed passionately for a while until they both needed air.
"I...like you t-two..." Peridot put a loose stand of hair behind her ear and blushed, then turned her face away from Lapis. The blue gem giggled and hugged Peridots waist and nuzzled into her side.
"I can tell." Lapis responded.
The two stayed in that position for a while until they realised they missed breakfast and lunch...
