Holy crapola... Chap. 40!

Recap-

You two, Stop It! Can't you see when the legions get here, we will need to work together to win! So put aside your stupid, petty, annoying hatred of each other if you want to survive!" I yelled.
"Sorry lass, but it's been this way for 60 years and it's going to remain so!"
I huffed. "Dwarves..."

Dwarvish and Elvish commands were then shouted, Gandalf and I rushed to safety.

More noises could be heard. "Can we tell them 'I told you so' now?" I asked Gandalf.
"Maybe when this is over." He replied.

A Huge brown, worm-like monster came out of the ground. "Gandalf...what is that?"
"A were-worm. Where there's one, more always appear."
"Oh, come on." Dáin said.
Two more then came into view.

More and more creatures came into our vision...
But the main thing on everyone's mind -

Were we going to survive this?

________

We looked past the Were-Worms, to the North-East and spotted Azog and two others on a stone pillar with what looked to be flags of some sort, but were rigged.. They were obviously using them for some other reason.
He spoke, *Come forth my armies!* A horn then blew and the 'flags' raised, signaling Azog's Army.
Gandalf and I looked at each other, both understanding what he had said.
"The hordes of hell are upon us!" Dáin yelled, riding his uhm.. pig along the front-line of his army. "To battle! To battle, sons of Durin!" The Dwarves moved in sync, towards the enemy.

"This.. Is going to be one heck of a battle, Gandalf."
"Yes, i'm afraid it is.. And I hope Thorin stays where he is. For all our sakes."
I went ridged. "What, do you mean by that?"
"Azog wants the line of Durin extinguished. You too, Arietta. If he comes down here..."
"-He might die."
"He has a greater chance then you, my dear."
Fear was the then the main emotion. Not worry, fear. I was terrified. For all of us. Worry was the second emotion however..

I looked all around me, the Elves were doing nothing, as were the men (where we were.) Then I looked up towards my family. Big mistake. They were arguing - Adad was shouting at them, Fili looked angry. Balin looked upset.. Yes amazingly I could see them. I was shocked myself.

Gandalf startled me by yelling, And rushing towards the Elves "Thranduil! This is madness! You have to fight!"
I looked to the South when I heard clanging, it was Dáin's men..er, Dwarves? Using their metal shields as cover. As Azog's army continued to rush at them with no mercy.
I continued to watch on, too terrified to look away. His men..Dwarves suddenly launched themselves over the shields and into Azog's army.
'Wait, what?' I shook my head. 'Did that really happen?' I didn't know Dwarves could fly.
As I watched more jump over the shields, I noticed that they were too tall. And had long hair, golden armor, and red capes. 'ooh~ ok! Thranduil's Army!' My eyebrows furrowed.. 'wait, they're working together, with Dwarves!?'
