Recap-

I heard the distant sound of pages turning, the Library wasn't a common place for people to visit. My curiosity kicking in, I followed the noise.

"Layla, come on, I'll show you all the books you want later. For now can you please follow me? I'm itching to know who's behind that page turning."

Layla groaned. "Will I get to read afterwards?"
"Yes, I promise."
Layla and I followed the page-turning sound - which was way harder then you'd think. And soon enough, we were face to face with Bofur. 'surprise surprise....'

Bofur was sitting at one of the Library's old, Mahogany tables, that sat 10 people. 'I wonder what he's doing here?'

I pulled out a chair across from him and sat. Layla following my movements, sitting to my right.

"Hey Bofur, didn't think we'd find you here." I cocked my head curiously.

"Arietta! Yes, I'm looking up a plan for a new toy of mine, now that more people are arriving."

"Oh, really?"

"Yes, I think I found one. Though, it might take some time. The name of it is Fidchell." He then showed us a picture of the game.

"Bah, you can easily make that!" I replied.

He changed the topic, looking at Layla who at the moment...was looking around the library.

"Who's the Lass?"

"Oh, excuse my manners! She, is my new friend, Layla."

"Hm. I've never seen her 'round here before, is she new to Erebor?"

"Yes, yes she is. Adad gave her permission to stay, permanently. And, I was just giving her a tour, actually."

Layla came out of her examination of the Library when she heard us talking about her.

She looked in my direction first, then Bofur's.

Their eyes met, and as they did - they both froze. For how long it lasted, I was unsure. For my mind drifted to a single, solitary word....

'One.' Bofur and Layla were each others One. There was no other explanation with the way they were looking at each other. I smiled, happy for them. They both needed this.

But, my mind then started to wonder... If, or when I found love. Would it be my One? And if it wasn't,  - would He hurt me? If it turned for the worse, Would He abuse me, - Abuse my heart? I knew a Dwarves One usually wouldn't hurt each other. For it would hurt them, also.

When I came out of my thoughts, I noticed Bofur and Layla were talking.

"-Framsburg."

"Oh, really? Was it nice their?"
