Recap-
To say that the next few days were rough, would be an understatement. They were unbearable. We were healing the sick, and burring the dead, giving shelter to the homeless.
Fixing up Dale.Erebor was open to all. Adad has finally come around some, he was no longer his old, cold self...Well most of the time. I think almost losing Fili, and losing Dwalin brought him to his senses.
After I talked to adad about Tauriel and Legolas, how they helped us he let them stay for a limited amount of time.
His change in Elves was still the same, cold. Especially Mirkwood Elves.
(Even if they had helped us.)Some of the Dwarves objected, others agreed with Thorin. They no longer saw me as a traitor, after we - Gandalf, Bard, and I explained... The word of Thranduil wouldn't help.
But still the question remained - what would happen next?

Onward-ho! Lol
In the picture above (that I managed to make on picmonkey.com ♡) Is..or would be one of many Arietta's outfits. Picture those clothes put together however you'd like...I know they can't be put on all at once lol (or at least I wouldn't put them on all at once..I'd over-heat! xD.)________
It was mid-day and I was taking a break from helping my father with his duties, which were mostly finding and giving shelter for those who needed it. Harder than it sounds. Erebor was filling up rather quickly, and Dale was being fixed and rebuilt.
I decided to investigate what was going on, just how far they have gotten, exactly. From the distance I could see a few of Dale's houses and market's rebuilt.
'well that's a good sign'
As I was passing a corridor of sorts, I heard two familiar voices speak -
"I cannot go back."
"Where will you go?"
"I..do not know."
"Go north."
"..Find the Dunedain. There's a young Ranger amongst them. You should meet him. His father, Arathorn, was a good man. His son might grow to be a great one."
"What is his name?"
"He's known in the Wild as Strider. His true name you must discover yourself."
"Legolas. Your mother loved you. More than anyone. More than life."I began turning the conversation over in my head. But, it was then that I heard Legolas or his Father walking in my direction.
I quickly walked up the steps that were next to me.And thank Aüle it was Legolas, not his father!
I discovered it was him when he was suddenly by my side.
'does he know that I heard them him?'
He tilted his head, as he matched my walking pace. "Arietta, its a surprise to see you here.."
"...I came to check on the progress of Dale, and I uhm over-heard part of your conversation."
"Mmm, well, would you mind if I accompanied you on your walk?"
I gave him a strange look.
'this is one strange elf...'
"No, of course not Prince Legolas."And so we walked, through the streets of Dale memories assaulting my mind.
"I was here when the Dragon took Dale." I spoke quietly. "Horrible. There was fire everywhere. None lived..."
"Why were you in Dale, my Lady?"
"Dwalin...he was teaching me." I looked up at Legolas's confused face.
"-Sword fighting."
"Ah, I see."
"My amad died here, saving me..."
"My Lady, why don't we change topic."I nodded, all too thankful.
"I must ask, what of the conversation did you hear?" He questioned.
"I-before I tell, know that didn't mean to snoop, I swear! I was walking past when I heard and got curious."
He nodded. "Go on."
"...The whole conversation. I heard it all, I believe."
Legolas sighed. "So, you know that I can't stay."
"Yes, my Lord.""I may ask Tauriel to come with."
"But I don't understand, why can't you stay?"
"..That, I cannot tell you."
I hummed.
"I could ask my father if you could stay longer!"
"No, my Lady Arietta. You have done enough. And your father is under enough pressure. You must let Tauriel and I go."
I sighed. "If you insist.."Legolas and I continued our walk through Dale, they were in fact rebuilding it fast. Faster then one would expect.
"And now I must say goodbye. Will we meet again?" I asked him, at Dale's city gates.
"That my Lady, I do not know."
"Arietta. For future references. Just Arietta."
He smiled. "Just Arietta it is then, perhaps we shall meet again. Time will tell."*Namaarie, Luthien Elansse.* Legolas spoke. (Farewell, Arietta Durin.)
*Tenna' ento lye omenta.* (Until next we meet.)*Namaarie, Ernil Legolas Greenleaf.* I replied, (Farewell, Prince Legolas Greenleaf.)
*Aa' menealle nauva calen ar' malta.* (May your ways be green and golden.)
We went our separate ways, I'll miss that Ellon.
Over the next few days, I saw Tauriel only once.
She was indeed going with Legolas, in some ways I could understand. Others I couldn't.
It would be a lonely place now, that was guaranteed. Even Lonelier after Gandalf left, and Bilbo.. I hate to think of that day!
'Speaking of those two, where are they?'Knowing Gandalf, he's out somewhere smoking his pipe. So, well you can guess my next round of actions. - I went and searched for my friend, mentor, grandfather-figure.
I found him on Raven Hill, under a big cloud of smoke. Bilbo was their too.. They looked, well - sad, depressed, out of it. You get the point?
It was as if the battle had just happened, when it was actually weeks ago. They seemed so warn-out.
I cautiously walked up to the duo. "Hey, haven't seen you two in awhile."
Bilbo twitched his nose, while Gandalf re-filled his pipe.
"Ah, Arietta, what a pleasant surprise, how are you my dear?"
I raised an eyebrow.
"Could be better, much like you two."
They both let out a small chuckle, "And so is the aftermath of a battle."
"I came to find you two, now how about we head back to Erebor? Hm?"
"I must be going soon, you know." Bilbo spoke.
"Oh not you too!" I groaned. "Everybody's leaving on me, here. Soon i'm going to be stuck with all..all.."
"Loud Dwarves?" Bilbo finished.
"Yes!"
"-Who are your family."
"Stay, for a little bit longer, please?"
"Arietta, I really must be getting back, it will be winter soon."
I sighed.
"Let him go, Arietta. Perhaps you will meet again." Gandalf spoke. So, as one could predict we walked back to Erebor dreading, yet excited to reach our destination. Bilbo would leave. But we had the Mountain. We had finished our quest.
A day or so later, The Dwarves packed Bilbo up with everything he would need and then some. - Even a handkerchief.
Balin, Bilbo, Gandalf, and I were at the Erebor entrance."I think I'll slip quietly away. Will you tell the others I said goodbye?" He asked us.
"You can tell them yourself." Balin replied.
A smile made its way to my lips.
Bilbo stopped in his tracks, confused. And turned around.
"If any of you are ever passing Bag End, uh tea is at 4. There's plenty of it. You are welcome anytime." He spoke.
We bowed, I noticed that many of the other Dwarves, including Adad were tearing up. I included. - The Acea.
"Uh...Don't bother knocking." Bilbo added.
We laughed in what seemed to be in-sync.
And so after the goodbye's he left, passing the Gates of Erebor...
"Mr. Baggins, Erebor's Gates are open to you at anytime. Remember that." Adad spoke.
"Thank you, Thorin."
We looked on as Bilbo rode out of our sight.___________________
