Recap-
So, we walked back to Erebor dreading, yet excited to reach our destination. Bilbo would leave. But we had the Mountain. We had finished our quest.
A day or so later, The Dwarves packed Bilbo up with everything he would need - even a handkerchief.
Balin, Bilbo, Gandalf, and I were at the Erebor entrance.
"I think I'll slip quietly away. Will you tell the others I said goodbye?" He asked us.
"You can tell them yourself." Balin replied.
Bilbo stopped in his tracks, confused. And turned around. His face softened,
"If any of you are ever passing Bag End, uh tea is at 4. There's plenty of it. You are welcome anytime." He spoke.
We bowed, I noticed that many of the other Dwarves, including Adad were tearing up. I included. - The Acea.
"Uh...Don't bother knocking." Bilbo added.
We laughed in what seemed to be in-sync.
And so he left, passing Erebor's Gates.
"Mr. Baggins, Erebor's gates are open to you at anytime. Remember that." Adad spoke.
"Thank you, Thorin."
We looked on as Bilbo rode out of our sight.

It would be another three weeks until another person left. And that was sadly, Gandalf. He did however tell me that he would return soon.

"Gandalf, why are you always on the move?"
"It's the life of a Wizard, Arietta. We 'muddle' with things. As others say."
"Surely you tire of it? You could stay in Erebor, or probably even Dale for awhile!"
He sighed. "Arietta, you will get use to living with Dwarves again, do not be afraid. Be yourself. You're with your kin now."
I sighed, but nodded.
"Remember to be careful with your powers, look after everyone, they need it. And help your father, Arietta, keep an eye on him. He's not fully healed yet. Those are my tasks for you while i'm away. Understand?"
"Yes, Gandalf. I understand. And I'll do my best. My father and the people are always at the front of my mind while i'm in Erebor." I spoke.
"Good. Now, I must go i'm afraid.. I will see you again soon, dear one."
"Need I say to be careful?"
Gandalf smiled "Good bye for now, my dear Arietta."

"Bye Gandalf..."
I stood at the gate, watching Gandalf ride off on his brown horse, thinking with a sigh 'well, this place is going to be...different now. No Wizards, Elves, Hobbits...'
Gandalf left when it was quiet, unexpectedly. Only I and adad knew. Why he left so Unexpectedly? That's unknown to me.

I slowly wandered back to my chamber, thinking about various things. One being the future. What was going to happen now?

Months had turned into weeks, and I would see from my throne next to my fathers, - messengers, sometimes even Kings bring offerings of money, wood, animals, food, anything that would help to re-build Erebor and Dale. Adad turned it down at first. 'Stubborn old man.'
It was then that I spoke up one day, "Thank you for your generosity, it will not go un-heard. Please, stay as long as you wish. We will re-pay you when we can."
"Kukdrer, will you please guide this man to a room he may stay in?" I asked.
"As you wish, Princess Arietta." He bowed.
"Thank you, Kukdrer." I spoke.
"And Roderic? If you need anything feel free to ask me, Kukdrer, or my father." I spoke, gesturing to each of us.
"Thank you, your majesty." He left with a bow.
I watched as they walked down one of Erebor's many corridors.

"You should not have done that."
"And why not, Adad?" I asked as I sat down to his left.
"We may not be able to re-pay him, at least for a very long time. Arietta, you must learn there is always a catch."
"Adad...You know as well as I, that Erebor and Dale need help! We have No choice but to accept it! And the consequences that may follow."
He sighed. "Do not say that I didn't warn you, when the time comes."
"We will be prepared Adad, as best as we can."
"Mmm how can you be prepared for something you cannot see?"
I sighed yet again.. 'good point.'
