Hey guys/girls! I'd say "Yay! Chapter 50!!" (I was seriously looking forward to saying that...) But sadly, this is only a A/N. :/ (Please, please, please keep reading!!)
I apologize for the lack of updates recently! Dx my mind has been extremely pre-occupied as of late.. And the creativity has left me because of it I suspect .-. -grumbles-Before I go any further, I'd like to ask everyone -
Do you have any ideas, possible plans, of where you want the ending of this story to go?
I like to hear your thoughts!
I'm going to make a sequel, just for the heck of it xD, for fun. The thought won't leave my brain. My boyfriend/best friend/fiancé suggested that maybe I could bring up Tom Bombadil in the sequel? Somehow... (Have yet to read the books, again...)
I have yet to research him, that's gonna be fun! :D
But yeah, he's a Lotr, Hobbit fan Big Time! So that helps. But my brain is going in circles, because my life long best friend/boyfriend, now fiancé. Proposed to me awhile back (to which I said yes, obviously.) And we haven't exactly told my mom...yet. I'm about 97% sure she'd take it alright, but I'm..we're being chickens... *sigh* hehe.
He brought it up, asking if we should get married soon... And I said "isn't it too soon?" And well, he agreed after a bit that it was. But, I'm thinking about how everything would change. And it is, too soon. We're too young, for one. - But, i'm not backing out. - It's just, hectic right now, my head. It hurts. D: and other crapola, is also going on, we might be moving soon...
He, my family, & dog, are also keeping a Very close eye on me because of my seizures, im having them literally every day. Its almost suffocating! (Curse those things.) He's new to all of this, so...yeah. Panics a little sometimes. Of course I'm the calmest of us all.. ironic, huh?
And my friend, needs help. Badly. He's getting...is depressed. :( so, I'm going to keep an 'eagle-eye' on him this summer, while helping him out.
Eagle-eye meaning making sure he's alright.
So you could say that life has suddenly turned upside down on me to put it simply.
Sometimes change can be good, other times bad. We'll ... I'll? See I guess. One thing's for sure, I'm Not giving up on this story!! Nuh-uh, not an option!
Just, please have patience?
This story won't leave my mind - it WANTS to be finished, but something...won't let it :/I'm currently going back and reading through the story, making things more detailed, editing the typos, longer convo's in some areas. Hopefully it'll give me ideas!
I just need the creativity back. Living in a house full of artists...and not being able to do my thing, talk about annoying! Mom's currently painting signs, Gram (retired art teacher.) Is making baby dresses and pillows.
Anyway....Sorry for the uh..rambling, venting, explaining? Etc.. :/The family store will be open soon, also. *sigh* Thats both good and bad..
Oh! I had a dream today (during a nap) that Fili & Kili were using Military Style Machine Guns (not in a bad way. More like examining them.) xD It was hilarious!! And of course, made no sense. Thorin & Dis were extremely mad.
-back to the point of the annoying A/N-
Hopefully you already realize how bad I feel about not being able to update. I'm really, honestly am trying to get back into the creative zone!!
If anyone has tips, lemme' know? Please?? Comment, pm.. anything! ☺But, here's a sneak peek! ... And how far I've gotten, sadly ._. I feel so bad, it's driving me bonkers! But, nothing will come to my mind!! Ugh. D:
(Except that odd dream... O.o)(Might re-write it a lil' bit, but the idea will stay the same, i'm 96.9% sure.)
Sneak Peak:
_______Bofur was sitting at one of the Library's old, Mahogany tables, that sat 10 people. 'i wonder what he's doing here?' I pulled out a chair across from him and sat. Layla following my movements, sitting to my right.
"Hey Bofur, didn't think we'd find you here." I cocked my head curiously.
"Arietta! Yes, I'm looking up a plan for a new toy of mine, now that more people are arriving."
"Oh, really?"
"Yes, I think I found one. Though, it might take some time. The name of it is Fidchell." He then showed us a picture of the game.
"Bah, you can easily make that!" I replied.
He changed the topic, looking at Layla who at the moment...was looking around the library.
"Who's the Lass?"
"Oh, excuse my manners! She, is my new friend, Layla."
"Hm. I've never seen her 'round here before, is she new to Erebor?"
"Yes, yes she is. Adad gave her permission to stay, permanently. And, I was just giving her a tour, actually."
Layla came out of her examination of the Library when she heard us talking about her.
She looked in my direction first, then Bofur's.
Their eyes met, and as they did - they both froze. For how long it lasted, I was unsure. For my mind drifted to a single, solitary word....
*End Sneak Peek..* :/
__________
(Ok, so I left out the last sentence... It would give almost everything away!)
Again,
If yah have any tips on how to get rid of this writers block stuff, please let's me know, please help! ..Its driving me insane over here.. I want to write, but nothing is there!!! Highly annoying. (Much like this half-working-keyboard. Kinda uh, dropped somethin' on it, some keys are hard to press.)
I'm getting tired of playing the Tomb Raider games so I can get the annoying thought of not be able to write out of my head -eye twitch.-
(Seriously I know where almost everything is...except that 'Grim Whisper' bow...'I might have to Google or Youtube that..')Fact: The game "Fidchell" is also known as - "fidhcheall, fidceall, fitchneal or fithchill" or in Welsh, it's known as (brace yourself..) "gwyddbwyll" 'now, how do you say that?'
It's an ancient Celtic Board Game, meaning "Wood Sense" and it's sometimes claimed to be the forerunner of our modern chess.See yah guys soon!, hopefully... Feel free to comment below or pm me with ideas & such? I'm so, so, so, sorry from the bottom of my heart ._. :(
