"Yes...But I.." 'What could I say?'
"You what?" Thorin asked.
"I was forced."
'forced to do it - for a good cause.' Is what I wanted to say.
Thorin raised his bow again, "Thieves should not be aloud to live."
He then released the arrow, it soaring through the air straight at me...
My heart stopped.

I shut my eyes, ready for the pain. 'Why would my father kill me? I knew what I did was mostly wrong - but I did it to save them!'
Where would the arrow hit?
I heard someone start jogging, they ran in front of me. And I heard something hit the ground, just a few feet away.
Making my eyebrows furrow in confusion.
I opened one eye, then the other. To see a grey cloak and a tall pointy hat, his staff pointed in front of him and he was in a ridged stance.
A bright orb of light surrounded us both.
I was, yet wasn't shocked.
"You will not kill her, Thorin Oakenshield! You're not in the right state of mind!" Gandalf yelled.
"She is a thief! I will not have one in my Kingdom."
"Has it not occurred to you that there might be more to this story?" Gandalf asked.
'what have I done?'
I took a timid step out from behind Gandalf, head down and began to sing aloud, -

I hoped by some miracle that Adad and the others would see sense, see that I didn't mean to hurt them.
But would it work?
And, it was silent...
Gandalf walked forward, in front of Thranduil and Bard. "To almost kill your own Daughter, You're not making a very splendid figure as King under the Mountain are you, Thorin son of Thrain?"
Leaving adad stunned, like he didn't realize what just happened, what he did.
"Keep Arietta away from me, Gandalf." He spoke. Still shocked.
Gandalf nodded.
I stood their confused, was he doing this to keep me or them safe?
Possibly both?
