Out of the corner of my left eye, I saw Azog - With Fili.

No words could describe how I felt.

*This one dies first! Then the brother! Then you, Oakenshield. You will die last.*
'Oh hell no!'
"Go." Fili said. "Run!" he screamed.
How could I save him?
my form wasn't strong enough to carry Dwarves... He would die!
I'll have to take a chance.

I flew in, full force and pecked Azog's hand that held Fili. And flew away at lightning speed.

I watched him fall in slow motion.

As Fili fell, I noticed that he looked almost...dead.
Which worried me.

But little did I know that a certain Wizard had something up his sleeve.
Help had arrived, in the form of one blond ellon and a redheaded elleth, no less.

They rode up just as Fili was falling, and Legolas managed to get to him before he could have met his ugly death.

'never have I been so happy to see an elf, or two should I say.'
I trusted Legolas enough to get him back to safety, -
so I flew to Kili, Azog's words rang through my head like that stupid horn. It was on re-play. I perched on his shoulder bringing him out of his sad-state, and let out a little screech,
'hopefully he'll know it's me. I'd rather not talk and alert any nasties...'

"I just witnessed Fili's death. Go away stupid bird."
I rolled my bird-eyes at his comment. "'stupid bird.'"
'lets see, what would get through to him? He may think his brother is dead, yes. He did look life-less. But he isn't...What should I do? Show myself by talking, or no? He will see his brother later.'

I had to get out of my thoughts, trouble was coming - and fast. I had to focus.

Kili raced out of the small cave, making me dig my talons in slightly. I heard Adad yell "Kili!" My head swiveled in his direction, "Thorin!" Dwalin then yelled.
'and so it begins...'

"Thorin. No!" I could hear Dwalin trying to hold Adad back.

Kili was rushing up the steps towards Bolg slashing any and everything - Orc and Goblin related out of his way.
When the two - Bolg and Kili began to fight, is when I panicked.
I quickly flew away, deciding to switch my forms. But..I've only switched to one animal form to another once, not pausing to become a human.

I pictured my phoenix form, yes this is what I needed.
The most bizarre feeling overcame me.. A sudden warmth, like I was being covered with a blanket, and when I looked at my wings sure enough - a Phoenix.
I hurried back to the battle, which Kili was the center of. He was thinking out of anger. He wanted revenge. Which I could see, I would...and sorta did want, too! But now was not the time!
