Trick or...Non-Trick, Breaking The Rules (Chapter 10)

*Mononoke's P.O.V*

It has been awhile since I have seen Kakashi or anyone else for that matter. I got a bell but it seemed to easy, I mean I know I got a real bell and he didn't use a jutsu to trick me or anything but there just felt like there was more to it.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a girl, Sakura, scream and decided to go check it out. It took me a while to reach the spot since I was being lazy again and what I saw made my eye twitch. It was Sasuke...and he got himself stuck in the ground somehow with only his head above the ground.

"Yo Sasuke what happened?"

He scoffed at me, not wanting my help, but did he really have much of a choice.

"Kakashi used a ninjutsu on me."

"AH I see...alright I'll get you out in a sec."

And who should run by us just as I was about to get him out...Sakura. She saw Sasuke and began to freak out, then when Sasuke talked she screamed.

"AAHH SASUKE IS JUST A HEAD WITHOUT A BODY AND HE IS TALKING AAAHHH!"

Then she died...I mean fainted. Can you blame me for busting out laughing out how stupid she is? I was on the ground rolling, holding my stomach trying not to laugh too hard at her stupidity.

"And they’re my partners, Mononoke can you get me out now."

"Sure...ha...whatever..ah."

I walked over to where he was and place my hand on the ground that was a foot away from him. It was one of my regular powers that I had, so I hope no one noticed that I didn't make hand signs. Well anyway since ninjutsu is usually used with chakra I could make something like a path out of the jutsu by using that chakra without messing with the jutsu. I just had to read the type of chakra used and take control of it.

I did just that and it looked like my hand was going through the ground but the dirt didn't move. I was able to locate Sasuke's hand in the dirt and grabbed it and quickly pulled him up. He looked dumbfounded, and when he looked at the hole he was in, it didn't even look like it had been changed since he was in it.

I walked over toward Sakura to see if she was ok, and Sasuke followed not really knowing what else to do. Sakura woke up and say me and Sasuke hovering over her to see if she was alright. GLOMP, no better word to describe what Saukra did next to Sasuke, and I didn't want to be left out so...GROUP GLOMP!!! Sasuke started to get scared and started to yell at us to let go...though it was hard to push 2 ninja girls off you.

He did it none the less, and then I started to phase out when Sakura started to talk about giving up; I am surprised that I was the only one that got a bell. Sasuke almost got one and Sakura was freaking out that she didn't get one and I did. Well like I said I phased out until I felt a cold aura and turned to see it was coming from Sasuke.

He started to talk about how he needed to destroy someone that he had no time for setbacks, that he was the only one that could destroy that person, and then he said he was an avenger. I felt bad for the guy, he was strong for his age as it is and he is still pushing himself. Right in the middle of his speech the alarm went off though...great.

Now we were forced to gather at the training area again, and I was the only one that didn't have my stomach grumbling. Sakura asked me about that and Sasuke answer for me saying that I was small so I didn't need much food. It was a little insulting but it got Sakura off my back.

"Uh oh stomachs grumbling, that's too bad. Oh and about this exercise I have decided, that I am not going to send any of you back to the academy."

Great...I knew there was more to this thing then just getting a stupid bell. The other's started to cheer while I got up and took the bell out of my pocket and threw it right into Kakashi's face. He caught it none the less.
