Count Down to the End (Chapter 31)

*Mononoke's P.O.V*

"ALRIGHT LISTEN UP!!! Here is the 10th and final question." Ibiki said and then this was the first thing that came to my mind. HOLY SHIT I forgot about Naruto, and then when I looked over at the guy he was freaking out. Ah crap I screwed up, then I did an anime fall in my chair, don't ask how? But Sasuke and Haruka started to look at me funny again. Well they blinked at me before Sasuke called me a loser and then Haruka helped me up.

"But before I give you the final question there are some more rules that you need to be aware of." Ibiki said again and then...my mind wondered to pizza. I know weird but I think I want some pizza now.

"Very well then rule number 1, each of you can chose to take the 10th question, if you chose not to take it you get a 0 which means you fail."

Then everyone started to blab about how who would chose to fail and that of course they would take the question then. I got bored and started to eat some chocolate pocky, don't ask where I got it. Man I slept in this morning and now I'm hungry what else would I do.

"Hold on you didn't let me finish, if you chose to take the question and answer it incorrectly, not only will you fail...YOU WILL BE BAND FROM TAKING THE CHUNNIN EXAM EVERY AGAIN!!!" He said and I just spaced out as I ate, Sasuke and Sakura aren't dumb and Naruto...dammit Naruto pull one of your miracle moves again.

After that he said that anyone that didn't want to take it should raise his hand and there team will be dismissed. After that over 15 teams where dismissed. Wow all of them are really that unsure of themselves. I space out again for a minute and then. I saw that little blonde nub put his hand in the air shakily, NARUTO DON....

BOOM.

I jumped almost completely out of my seat when I heard a sudden bang and almost fell...again. When I looked back up Naruto was glaring down Ibiki and he started yelling.

"DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME!!! I don't quit and I don't run you can act tough all you want, you’re not gonna scare me off. NO WAY!! I don't care if I get stuck as a genin for the rest of my life I'll STILL be Hokage some day!!!" He yelled and then nonchalantly took his seat. Woh Naruto may not be the smartest person ever but he can give a hell of a good speech. Nice move little nub. Hehe nub.

"This decision is one that could change your life, if for any reason you would rather quit this is your final chance." Ibiki said as he watched Naruto.

"No way I never go back on my word, that's the way of the ninja." Naruto said confidently as always, and no one even moved for a second to leave. Looks like all of us are going for it.

"Ok then I guess there is only one thing left for me to do and that's to tell you...that you've all passed the first exam."

Ok wait...WHAT?!! WHAT THE HELL!!! You've gotta be kidding me. The guy went on to explain that there was never a question and that our decision to stay was the answer to pass the test.

"Wait so we wasted a whole hour for nothing." I said and he went ahead and answered me, saying that it wasn't and that it was used to see how well we were able to gather information. Then he showed us that there were 2 chunnin to get the answers from and Naruto started to spaz out. So he didn't know to that we had to cheat? Wow he is so weird.

Ibiki just went on to talk about how he set up the test and then...he took of his headband/hat and...I was about to through up. It was disgusting to see. It looked like someone set off a bomb on his head.

"Information, in can be a valuable asset, and sometimes you will have to risk your life to get it."

"No kidding." I said under my breath. Jeez this guy almost got himself killed for information, dude just go to the library.
