Colors Behind The Mask (Chapter 30)

*Mononoke's P.O.V*

Can you call this ironic or just plain weird? I was seated and guess who I was siting with...Haruka, the girl I met when I walked in and...Sasuke. He was on my left, she was on my right. We were sitting in the back and I could see Naruto and Sakura sitting.

"Everyone eyes front." Ibiki said as he taped a piece of chalk on the board.

"There are a few rules you need to be aware of, and I won't answer any questions so pay attention the first time around."

He then started to right them on the board and he plainly said that we all started with a perfect score of 10 and for each question we get wrong a point taken away. Then there were ninja stationed all over the room to see if we cheated and if we did then 2 points wound be taken away.

"Rule 2, teams will pass or fail on the total score of all team members." He said and my jaw almost literally dropped. I was a little worried because of well Naruto, he wasn'texactly as bright as his hair, but then again we are a team of 4 which is rare and since we have more people we probably have a higher chance to pass anyway...right?

"One more thing, if any candidate were to get a 0 then the entire team fails." He finished and I half way had a heart attack. NARUTO just get 1 right PLEASE!!! Shit I even saw Sasuke flinch when he said that and you know that boy rarely shows any emotion except the emotion that he is emo. Hey you can't spell EMOtion without emo.

"The final question will not be given out until the last 15 minutes, you will have 1 hour total."

I knew what was coming and readied my jutsu. I love my creativity. Thank you God for it or I would be in trouble right now.

"BEGIN."

*Sasuke's P.O.V*

Naruto, that loser, I was hoping that he might be able to answer a question on this test, and then out of curiosity I looked at the rest of the team. Mononoke being the easiest to find since she was right next to me looked fine but not completely there, in a daze kind of, as she read the questions and almost immediately answered the question. That had me hoping they we're easy.

Sakura was looking through the questions and looked like she was having a hard time and lastly Naruto. Oh man this didn't look good, he's just sitting there, he's gonna chock.

"Don't worry Sasuke."

I looked over to see a grinning Mononoke, who was still writing away not even stopping for one second to look at me.

"When I finish with my test I'll get Naruto, and if I need to, Sakura. Just hurry up." She said writing as fast as possible, she looked like she was having difficulty doing that but she didn't stop, and I wasn't about to stop her either. Whatever she was planning I'll let her try, after all what else could make the situation worse."

*Haruka's P.O.V*

30 minutes into the test I was able to answer the first 5 questions but I was having difficulty with the last 4. I realized something early on in the test, that I was going to have to cheat to answer these difficulty questions, I even noticed many of the other ninja like that guy next to Mononoke using a sharingan to cheat, and another using byakuya. I had a jutsu to use to get the rest of the information I needed but then...I blacked out for some reason.

*Time skip/10 minutes later*

When I woke back up...my test was already filled out? How did that happen, I looked around looking for an answer when I say Mononoke with a smirk plastered on her lips as she looked at me with...some kind of look in her eyes. It looked mischievous but playful at the same time.

"Wha-what did you do?" I asked her as she continued to watch me.

"Hm oh that, consider it a little present, after all, you did a great job as my test subject for the jutsu I used to get those answers anyway. Plus you won't have to waste your chakra." She said as she smiled at me sweetly and I could just hear the smirk in her voice.

I was suspicious at first, for one thing how did she get a hold of my test and what did she do to me. The I looked at her test and noticed that she had the exact same answers on her test as she did on mine, so if I got them wrong so did she, and from this I can probably guess she is definitely a lot smarter then she looked so I know she wasn't about to let herself fail. Plus there was only 2 minutes left in the test so I really didn't have that much time left to cheat.

"Mononoke you’re such an idiot." and I looked to the chair next to Mononoke so that the boy next to her was looking at her with an exasperated look.

"Hey I kind of owed her one after all if that jutsu did mess up she would probably be in lala land right now." She said still smiling.

What did she do?

*Sasuke's P.O.V/Flashback*

I was busy getting the answers to the test when something caught my eye; Mononoke was doing some hand signs for a jutsu. What is she up to this time? The last thing was...something like a circle with her hand and she aimed it at...the girl sitting next to her.

Within second Mononoke collapsed on the table and so did the girl next to her. They both passed out? I was confused for a second before the girls head popped up but something was strange about her. She had this weird look in her eyes, that reminded me of...Mononoke...she used a mind transfer jutsu? But why, especially on a person right next to her, then instead of look at the answers a memorizing them she...started to write on the test. In 3 minutes she finished and went back to her own body. The girl stayed out cold for a minute but Mononoke popped right back up the moment she made it back in her body.

“Kiyomizu, what did you just do?” I questioned the weirdo as she started to play around with her hair, with a little announce in my voice.

“None of your damn business Uchiha, after all I’m gonna need her around for later.” She said with a smirk playing on her lips and you could hear that same little smirk of her’s in that voice of her’s as she sat in her chair.

*Mononoke’s P.O.V/End Of Flashback*

Haruka and Sasuke are looking at me funny. Hm I wonder why? Sorry guys but this is how it’s gonna be for a while after all there is a certain person her that I gotta get a like acquainted with before this is over with and I won’t let any of you out until I get what I want.
