Uncontrolled Worlds (Chapter 22)

*Mononoke's P.O.V*

"So you want me to cover you and Naruto with my kekkai while you and Naruto fight, no fairSasuke you gave me the boring job."

"You wanna fight then, you just better be able to make Shadow Clones."

I scuffed at Sasuke but his plan was pretty good, all I had to do was create kekkais and block thesenbon from hitting them while they did whatever it was. This masked guy better be glad I have a lot of pride otherwise he would be dead already.

Sasuke threw his plan into action and started to throw fire balls in the direction he saw the masked ninja go. I am surprised though, Sasuke was actually keeping up with this guy that was only moving fast enough for me to hear. I can barely make out his movements, but oh well that is why we have hearing.

"Naruto run for it. Get out and attack from the outside hurry." Sasuke said as he prepared himself for another attack

"Alright you got it." Then Naruto started to try and run out but all the mirrors started to glow and then our capturer came out of the mirror again and I was ready to defend both Sasuke andNaruto. When he came out Sasuke attacked with the fire ball but...the ninja dodged it and threw senbon.

"Hoi, Joso, Ke-k..."

"Mononoke what's..."

My vision started to fade and I could see Sasuke looking at me with the biggest eyes I have ever seen as I collapsed to my knees. Senbon had pierced my skin and I had senbon in all the joints in BOTH my arms and I even had senbon in the smallest joints in my fingers so now I couldn't createkekkai and I couldn't even preform a regular jutsu.

"What will you do now without that girl'skekkei genkai? Will you continue to fight me without her to protect you?"

Well he was wrong about 2 things, ONE it wasn't a kekkei genkai, and TWO hell yes they will. They have to otherwise we are all dead.

The blood from my body was still dripping out of my body and rolling off the senbon. My head started to hurt and my ears felt funny. The next thing I knew my legs couldn't keep me up at all and I started to fall again.

Then for the second time today someone caught me in their arms and now my head was firmly rested on someone's chest.

"Idiot don't you dare die now you hear me."

It was Sasuke's voice and he was the one that caught me. He was holding me so close that thesenbon in my arms were starting to cut him up to but he didn't seem to care at the moment.

I wanted to talk and tell him that I was fine but my lips refused to move. Damn morals, I could have us all out of this in no time if it wasn't for my stupid morals.

My eye lids started to feel heavy and I didn't have the strength to hold them up anymore so I let them fall over my eyes as I relaxed into Sasuke's arms. I could slightly hear Sasuke yelling at me but I was tired.

“Hn, I am such a selfish person.”

“What are you talking about Mononoke?” Sasuke questioned me. I could still only barely see him. He looked mad and a little heartbroken for some reason. I continued to speck for some reason, I don’t know why. I had no control over what I was doing at this point and my brain just wanted for someone to know, but if I could have stopped myself from talking I would.

“All of this, I could fix everything but I refused to for myself and now we are all going to die. To keep a secret and let your friends die. A bad choice, a selfish one, wouldn’t you say.”

He was silent as he held onto me and I could still feel him looking at me. Now I was completely too tired to think and my body shifted itself closer to Sasuke to get into a more comfortable position. I could feel myself slowing down as I drifted off again. I promise you guys this, if we live through this, I will never let this happen again.

*Sasuke's P.O.V*

She was just lying there, motionless, quiet, and I couldn't even tell whether or not she was breathing. I had a small blush from the fact that she moved herself closer to me but now wasn't the time. We needed to get her out of her NOW or she might....

"NARUTO we need to get out and get Mononoke to Kakashi sensei. Get up we need to hurry."

He was on the ground now, since Mononoke couldn't protect us with her kekkais we had been fully attacked with the senbon and Naruto received a pretty bad blow.

The masked ninja had blocked every move we've made; I gotta find a way to out maneuver him. My eyes have adjusted to his movements so maybe I can still get us out, so I quickly laidMononoke on the ground next to me so she wouldn't get hurt again.

The ninja attacked me with senbon again but I was able to counter. I picked up a senbon that was on the ground and blocked the senbon, but even I was starting to tire out and fell to my knees.

I had to protect Mononoke and Naruto at the same time and knew I couldn't keep it up for long so I had to try and attack by using the senbon that I had. He attacked again and was about to hit all of us, but I was able to pick up both Mononoke and Naruto and pull them away from the attack. Well at least Mononoke is light because if she weighed as much as Naruto one of us would have died then, and I am still not sure if she is or not.

Then I could start to feel something in my eyes. They felt hot and I could see something in my reflection in the mirrors. My eyes were red and I knew from seeing it before what that meant. I had the sharingan, and it may not be complete but I can use it to save all of us.

I was able to track every move of that guy was making and was ready for anything. When he came out of the mirror he didn't come after me but...Mononoke and Naruto. What? I have to stop him, I can't let them die.
