Sweet and Sour (Chapter 23)

*Mononoke's P.O.V*

I woke up feeling light headed and a little woozy. I found myself lying on the ground and it seemed like I was by myself, but from behind me I could hear the muffled sounds of...cry? What...the hell. Dammit not again, who got hurt this time. I hopped up on my feet in one move, bad idea. My entire body hurt when I did that, but for now I had to ignore the pain and see what was up.

I turned and looked down to see Sakura had her head and arms on Sasuke and she was crying on top of him. Jeez the boy gets hurt and she has to get all fan-girly again.

"Sakura why are you crying?" I said in a monotone for once in my life while I pulled the senbonout of my hands and fingers. Apparently I had gained back enough motor skills to pull them out while I was knocked out. Oh and I am pissed about getting knocked out AGAIN. Jeez at this rate I might become as useless as Sakura.

"MOMO you’re alive." Was the most shrilled noise I have ever heard in my life and then I gotglomped by the girl and I now have a big pink blob in my face while she is busy weeping on my top.

"AH me arm, m-legs, m-lungs, Sakura get the hell off me!!"

I felt her squeeze harder a bit but she got off me none the less, but she was still sobbing. Then she started to mumble stuff that I couldn't understand. Wow she really has problems. Uh looks like I gotta do a new job, next time one of these monkeys better pay me.

"Sakura....shut....the hell up! I'll heal emo-ass as soon as you are quiet, so I can think and do the freaking jutsu!!!"

Her eyes went wide as could be but she stopped blabbering which was a good thing but then she started to stutter. At least this time I could understand what she said as I bent down and took a seat next to Sasuke.

"M-mononok-ke wh-what are y-you talking a-about." She said with her hands balled up in front of her mouth but at least she wasn't crying anymore. Let's face it, what I said was mean but it probably did give her a small amount of hope, plus I am still mad that I didn't get to fight so I curse when I'm mad so...yeah.

"Ssssshhhh Sakura just watch, kay." I said while I put my finger over my mouth to ssh her and then winked at her. She nodded her head, and started to sob quietly, so I went to work.

First pulling out all the senbon that where inside Sasuke, he had less senbon in him then I did, so since I survived he was fine no doubt. After that it was down to the easier stuff. I did a jutsuthat I saw someone use before and it made my hands glow green. Now all I had to do was put my hands over Sasuke's wounds and he should heal up fine.

"S-sakura, Mononoke."

I didn't even have to think to now who said that. I looked over to see Sasuke looking at me with a blank look, but at least he was alive.

"Well well, you decided to come back." I said letting a smirk across my lips seeing that I had healed the Uchiha enough to gain consciousness.

Seeing Sasuke alive made Sakura immediately glomp him. Yeah I had to sweatdrop at her actions. I mean I wasn't even done yet, and this was probably going to send Sasuke out of consciousness, at least if I was him I would pretend to be unconscious to get her off of me.

"Ow Sakura that hurts." He said but I guess he still didn't have the strength to get her off.

"Uh Sakura unless you want to reopen his wounds I think you should move so I can finish healing him." I said still feeling like this was a bit strange even for me, but I guess it's just because I am new to this.

Sasuke started to try and get up and Sakura finally got off of him. Well Sasuke was struggling to get up and I knew beyond reason why.

"Sasuke stop trying to play the tuff guy and lay down." I said sternly and placed my hand on his chest to push the boy down on his back
