Flaming Illusion (Chapter 14)

*Mononoke's P.O.V*

The fog started to clear so now I could see but what I saw was something that I wish I didn't...Kakashi got himself stuck in some kind of water cage jutsu and now we were stuck fighting a water clone of Zabuza. The real one was holding Kakashi in the jutsu. Kakashi was yelling at us to run or we would die, but did he not get it...if we run we would die anyway, so we have to fight or die.

"We have to do it." I heard someone whisper before Sasuke charged at Zabuza's clone.

He tried to attack by the air but got caught by his neck and slammed right back into the ground. Dammit, what should I do? Sakura never does anything, Sasuke is down, and Naruto is freaking out. Well let’s just see what the clone can do before I decide how to attack.

*Sasuke's P.O.V*

There wasn't much I could do at the moment, I was still in pain from the hit I just took, so all I could do was watch as the Zabuza clone went after Naurto.

"Fire Style:Mythical Fire Flower Jutsu!!!"

Then 20 different fire balls went after Zabuza, he dogged them but...the fire started to disappear and then 20 different shuriken went back to hit him and he got nailed by 3 of them and dodged the rest. But no really damage was made.

"Impressive girl, you actually got a hit on me." The clone said and I turned to see Mononoke just leaning on a tree.

What is wrong with her. I can't tell if she has nerves of steel or is she is just dense. She looked at the clone like it was a friend with her normal smile, and had not even a hint of emotion that showed she was afraid.

"Flattery won't help you, just try and dodge ok. Kanashibari no Jutsu (Body Freeze Jutsu)"

She made the necessary hand signs and then the Zabuza clone didn't move anymore. He was stuck in one position and didn't move. I heard a light "humph" noise and turned to see Mononoke was smiling and took out some kunai to throw at the water clone.

This fight was over, all she had to do was throw it at the clone and it would be gone, then we could save Kakashi. To tell the truth I felt a little envious that she actually was beating the clone so easily and I have never heard of the jutsu she used before. Is it one that she made up?

Well the kunai went whizzing threw the air and got the clone right in the middle of his face, but the moment the clone got hit...so did Mononoke. While we weren't looking Zabuza created another clone and it had slammed her into a tree and was holding her up by her throat.

"MOMO" Sakura and Naruto yelled in unison.

I wanted to move, I wanted to help her, but I couldn't, I just couldn't move. I was stunned, I had no idea how to save her or what to do.

"You’re a smart little think aren't you? You got my clone with an ANBU level attack, but that move sucked to much chakra out of that body of yours didn't it."

"Not really." Mononoke replied. She was letting Zabuza hold her up like that while she just had her arms crossed. Then she was examining her nails like she was bored. Jeez what is she trying to do, make him mad.

Well if she was, she got it, he started to try and choke her and she started to...laugh.

"HAHAHAHA STOP!!! THAT TICKLES!!!"

The hard Zabuza squeezed the harder she laughed. What the hell ok is she a masochist or is she trying to die faster. I couldn't even see her neck my now.

"EERR SHUT UP!!!" Zabuza gave her neck a harder final squeeze and...she disappeared, a clone jutsu.

"YO ZABUZA, down here!"

Before anyone could even look Zabuza went flying in the air, and Mononoke position herself to be standing right under him on the ground.

"Fire Style: Fire Spiral Jutsu."

In the jutsu she was using you could see chakra leaving her mouth and then she was spinning around while the chakra turned to fire a few inches above her mouth.

The fire was almost the size of the entire forest and it was in the air heading straight for Zabuza in circle motion. If this didn't destroy the clone then what would.

As expected the clone was destroyed but then...while we weren't looking Zabuza created another clone that hit Mononoke on the head while she was about to undo the jutsu and she fell on the ground about to pass out from either a lose of so much chakra or the hit.

"Th-that w-was a dirty m-move Z-zabuza."

Oh my gosh is she going to take this seriously. She was just laying on the ground with Zabuza's foot on her stomach, and all she does is point at him and say that. After that she started to black out and didn't move.

"MOMO." everyone except me screams.

"Hahaha your friend is finished." I could see Zabuza's smile under is mask made of bandages. Why is it that I wanted to go over and rip that smile right off his stupid face. He isn't going to get away with this.

*Mononoke's P.O.V*

It felt dark and cold, I couldn't see or hear anything, and I could feel a giant weight on me. My body felt sore from that fire jutsu I used, damn I used to much chakra. The weight then smacked into my entire body even harder and I was forced to open my eyes an look around me as I spit up blood. It was faint but I now see Zabuza towering over me laughing about something.

"It felt so...GOOD."

"Well this will feel wonderful."

I had to use more chakra to get him off or I was dead. Well this wasn't a jutsu but one of my regular powers. I just touched his pants and set them on fire. He lifted his leg right then and I had enough strength to get up and jump back to my team.

"Hey Momo."

I looked over towards Naurto to see a confident gleam in his eye. Dammit why do I miss all the good parts, what happened.

"I got a plan. Have some strength left in you."

"Yeah but I don't know about chakra."

"Alright follow along ok...SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!!"

At least 20 different Naruto's went after Zabuza just to get thrown back to the ground.

"MOMO!!!"

He threw a windmill shuriken to me and I could already tell it was actually Naruto, and I pulled out my own, getting that he wanted be to do a certain jutsu. Not a bad plan but I was to weak to throw this thing, well at least to weak to move to get a clear shot.

That is when Sasuke skidded in front of me and got on his back while putting his feet together in the air. Wow Naruto really did think of everything.

I ran to Sasuke and jumped on top of his feet and he pushed me into the air while I used what strength I had left to push myself up even more. That sent me a good 30 meters into the air and I got a perfect view of my target.

"Demon wind shuriken. Windmill of Shadows."

And I sent it flying to the REAL Zabuza. I just hope Naruto does his part right.
