After hours of rebuilding, freezing, and morphing, Elias and I were able to cover five out of eight sections of the island. I think it's the afternoon right now so, we have some free time, even if we're pretty tired...
...And we have nothing to do...
"So, what now?" I said as I sat down on one of the boulders that surrounded the area where we are at.
"Well... do you want to chat for a little bit? I'm assuming the others are still working on their tasks for the day." Then Elias started to laugh. "I'm sensing that... haha... Chelsea has some trouble... haha... doing her... haha... task..."
"What's so funny?" I asked.
"Hahaha! Fairies... haha... are like... haha... swarming around... haha... her like crazy... haha!" he roared with laughter.
I imagined like a hundred of the ice fairies trolling her around like bees in a hive and trying to help her with making the barrier. Chelsea would be raging right now.
"I get it now! I could imagine it happening, hahaha!" I started laughing too.

I probably think we were laughing for about an hour or two until we both calmed down.
"Phew... that was funny... I could hardly move my mouth now..." I panted.
"I know right..." Elias said. "By the way, do you want to um, hang out somewhere...together?"
"Are you asking me that this is a date?" I asked, shocked.
"Erm, yes," he replied with wide eyes. He's probably thinking, 'what the heck did I just say?'
"Where are we hanging?" I said.
"It's a secret. Want to go now?" he said, holding out his hand.
"Sure, while there's still light out," I replied.
"Actually, we're staying there until the evening. I'm going to bring some food from the hideout." he quickly added.
"Are we picnicking or something?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Something like that, but it definitely involves picnicking," he smirked. "Let's mount our rides and stop by the hideout first alright?"
"Okay..." I said.

After stopping by the hideout, I followed Elias into a forest. While on my hoverboard, I made sure Elias's jet ski was still in sight. After a few minutes of riding around, we arrived in a clearing.
"Where are we? I know I'm supposed to have knowledge of the Ice Realm but I'm still kind of inexperienced with the history of all the realms..." I asked Elias.
"This is called the Evergreen Forest. This place is known for its evergreen trees such as pine, spruce, fir, and much more. Right here in this clearing, is the perfect place to go stargazing. I know I'm not a person who has a kinetic ability over stars but the sky's always nice out." he explained. "And we're going picnicking while we do. Fun right?"
"Sounds fun to me," I said.
Elias laid down the blanket on the grass and I helped him set up the food. From what I see, there were sandwiches, lemonade, pizza, marshmallows, biscuits, chips, well, any snack imaginable! I really can't wait to eat all these...
"Hang in there Kayla, not yet. Let's view the stars first." Elias said.
"Alright," I smiled.
We both laid down on the blanket, side by side, and admired the stars together. He was right: the sky is always nice, no matter the day or hour.
"Oh look! A shooting star!" I exclaimed, pointing at the shooting star that just passed the sky.
"Make a wish," Elias whispered.
I smiled and said in my thoughts. I wish that... I know that I'm being vain but... I wish Elias and I will be together. You know what I mean.
"I wished the same thing Kayla." he said, smiling right beside me.
I sighed and smiled back. We were gazing at each other for what felt like hours. Then,we were being pulled together by some kind of force. We got to the point where we could possibly kiss. One more inch and you know what happens...
"Yep," he said, agreeing with my thoughts.
And when our lips were about to meet, some kind of noise interrupted our moment and we jumped apart, surprised.
"ARRGGHH GET AWAY FROM ME YOU FREAKS!!!"
Chelsea's voice echoed through the whole realm.
"What is wrong with that girl?" Elias said, facepalming himself.
"Should we leave her alone?" I asked.
"Yeah... Brandon will calm her down," he said.
"That's true," I muttered. "Anyways, let's eat!"
"Dig in!" he smiled.

Brandon's POV
Okay, Elias and Kayla are taking a break, Carter is doing well at managing the safe houses and...
"HEEELLLPPP!!!"
"What the?" I wondered.
I flew up into the sky to try and find her. If you're wondering how I could fly, it's just because I have powers over the air so... I could manipulate how it carries me.
"Chelsea! Stop resisting! You know they're trying to help you make the barrier!" I cried out.
"Brandon, I know I can do this myself! Now please, let me continue doing this..."Chelsea screamed back.
I groaned and flew up to Chelsea. "Chels, just... go with it."
"Alright, fine..." she rolled her eyes and silently went back to work.
I turned to one of the fairies and said: "Sorry about that, she is usually this stuck-up like this..."
"It's okay Brandon, we've seen a lot of types of people before." it replied.
I smiled and flew back down to the hideout.
