"So.... how's your day?" Elias asked Chelsea.

"Terrible! Those fairies keep bugging me! Brandon, I told you, I can do stuff myself!" she yelled out.

"Hey it's not my fault, it was your idea to make two layers of the barrier. The outer layer will be used to protect the realm from heating up while the inner one keeps the cold air in." Brandon said, hands up at his sides.

"Anyone have some breath mints?" Carter asked.

"Here, catch," I answered and tossed my mint tin over to him.

"Thanks, Kayla." he said, popping a mint in his mouth before tossing the tin back to me.

All of us were just sitting in the living room resting after a long day. Well actually, we're tired yet extremely bored. Brandon is reading a textbook and humming occasionally, Chelsea is constantly checking her make-up (and getting angry about earlier), Carter is looking around for snacks to eat, and Elias and I are laying down on the couch and the floor. What can you expect from staying nine days in an Ice Realm with the job done at daylight?

"If we are not even doing anything, I'm probably going to eat every snack in the pantry," Carter said.

"There has to be something we could do..." Elias added.

"I got an idea!" Chelsea exclaimed in a high-pitched voice.

"Make it good... I don't want to do stuff that kinda involves what you usually do in your parties..." I rolled my eyes. What is she planning?

"Truth or dare!" she finally said. "Who's in favor?"

All of us except Carter raised their hands.

"Are you sure you're not going to make me run out in the cold wearing my underwear again?" he said sternly.

"Well, no choice! All of us are bored anyway." I said.

"Fine, I'll join." he muttered.

"Arrow!" Brandon closed his textbook and chanted. A floating arrow appeared from midair. "This will decide who will dare someone first."

"Alright, let's spin!" Elias cheered.

With a wave of his hand, Brandon made the arrow spin as fast as it could go. It felt like forever for the arrow to stop. All of us are on the verge of dying of boredom. Finally, it stopped.

"Elias, choose a person," Brandon said.

"Alright, um..." Elias pondered. "Got it! Carter, truth or dare?"

"Truth," Carter replied.

"Alright... how many breath mints do you usually eat each day?" he asked.

"Erm... about twenty?" he said.

"Twenty! That equals a lotta sugar did you know that?" Chelsea exclaimed

"I don't care what you think. Besides, I'm going to you next." Carter smirked. "Truth or dare, Chelsea?"

"Dare," she said. "Bring it on!"

"You sure? Most likely I'll torture you." Carter asked.

"JUST SAY IT!"  she shouted.

"This is going to be interesting..." I whispered to Elias.

"Right..." he nodded.

"Ahem... I dare you to eat thirty breath mints at the same time." Carter challenged

"What?! You can't make me do that!" Chelsea exclaimed.

"Well, you better do it Chels, or he might make you stuff thirty marshmallows in your mouth," Brandon said.

"Ughhhhh!" she groaned and grabbed my tin of mints and made all of the mint pieces float in midair. "I count ninety in here so..." She grabbed for thirty mints with her energy then she put the other sixty back in the tin.

"No charms or chants involved please." I raised an eyebrow as Chelsea was about to chant something. "Especially undetectable extension charms..."

"Stop making things worse! I'm about to eat them anyways..." she exclaimed

She molded the mints into a ball and stuffed it in her mouth. She looked like she has a hard time chewing the mints. "Grrr......"

Haha! this is so funny... Seeing her like that... haha! I thought in my mind and started laughing.

"This is going to take a long time..." Brandon said, opening his textbook and reading again until Chelsea was able to swallow everything.

"That was cruel of you Carter..." she said.

"Here, have a bottle of water," Elias said. "Bottle!"

She slowly drank from the water bottle that Elias had summoned. Now, it's her turn to dare someone.

"Kayla, truth or dare?" she said.

Man, I think she's going to be evil here... I thought. "Truth..."

"Alright! Ooh... this is going to be interesting... Who are you crushing on right now?" she said.

Elias, I really want to say it's you but... then I summoned my hoverboard and flew out of the hideout, out of embarrassment.

"Kayla wait!" Elias cried out.

Brandon said something to him but I was too far away to hear...

I was hovering meters above the Evergreen Forest. I was observing the almost-full moon. It's beautiful... I thought.

"Are you alright Kayla?" someone asked.

I turned around and saw Carter with rocket shoes on.

"Dunno..." I muttered. "Why?"

"I know you may assume Chelsea was smirking the whole time you were gone but the rest of us were worried. Elias wanted to come after you but Brandon stopped him. They were both fighting over who should go but then, I volunteered to go so... here I am." he explained.

"Okay..." I said.

"By the way, I'm not going to pry but... do you have a crush on Elias?" he asked. "I'm not going to tell anyone."

I took a deep breath before speaking. "We might have a crush on each other... And if you were wondering where we were at earlier, we were at the clearing of this same forest. We were stargazing."

"Was it a date?" he asked.

"That's what Elias said, yes," I replied.

"I've never known this would happen..." he muttered, then flashed a small smile. "Anyways, I really hope for a great beginning for you guys. Don't mind Chelsea, we're all here to support you, same with your brother."

I smiled. And before I got to say anything, I heard a loud howl in the distance.
