Chapter 11

(A/N: Sorry I couldn't update yesterday.... I was busy and I couldn't get a hold of a computer or something.)

*First person pov*

All the trainees started at me. "Everyone is dismissed. Cadet Andrea, a word." Shadis announces. Everyone looked at each other and started to leave, until it was just me and Shadis. I saluted him. "Yessir! You wanted a word, Sir?" I asked him. "At ease cadet. Tell me, did you do this?" Shadis said, as he picks up the chunk of the neck I cut off. "Yessir! I'll accept any punishment for using my blades when I'm not supposed to and destroying that dummy by accident!" I said, sweating a little. I never liked getting in trouble, so you can say I'm a goody two shoes. "Cadet, I'm not mad. I'm just surprised. To think a shithead like you could.... could almost take a whole titan's head off.... and this is only the first day that you're using the 3DMG. I just wanted to know if you did it or not. You're dismissed." Shadis said, turning back to me. I saluted him then ran off. As I exited the forest, I saw my friends waiting for me. I collapsed in front of them, with anime tears in my eyes. "OH MY GOD I WAS SO SCARED!!!" I shout as I hug Connie's leg. "O-Oi!" He shouts as he tries to pry my arms off his leg. "It's a blessing you came back alive!!" Sasha cries as she holds me. I sob into her comically while the others sweat drop. "Basil, you're overreacting." Jean said, as he pulled me up onto my feet. "Have you not learned from that headbutt Shadis gave you on the first day here!?" I yell as I poke his forehead. "Ow!" He shouts as he holds his forehead. "For once, I agree with Kirstein. I can't be that bad." Eren said. "That's because you've never been called out by Shadis on the first day!!!! Oh my gosh it was so scary..." I said as I hold my forehead. "I can still rememner the pain I felt from that day!!!" I shout as I cry. "Ba-Basil!! Don't cry!" Armin shouts as he rubs my back comforting. "Basil." Mikasa called. I turned to her. "I won't let Shadis touch you. You're my friend and roomate." Mikasa said. More anime tears form in my eyes. "WAAAAHH!!! ONLY ARMIN, SASHA, AND MIKASA UNDERSTANDS ME!!!" I yell as I bear hug all three of them at the same time. "Oi Basil!! You're suffocating them!!" Eren yells as he prys me off of them. Armin and Sasha fall to the floor coughing, while Mikasa just stood there like a boss. "Mikasa, how come you're fine?" Eren asked. "Air is for the weak." Mikasa stated plainly. "THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!" Armin and Sasha shouted the same time. "She's so hot..." Jean mumbles. I elbow him in the side. "OW! What was that for?" Jean yells, glaring at me. "I did it because it's painful hearing you compliment her without even saying it out loud." I whispered in his ear. "I prefer it like that!" Jean whisper shouts. "Cadet Andrea. You need to turn in your gear." A commander said. "Yessir!" I shout as I run to the turn in station. I took off the gear and gave it to the commander who was handling them. It was dinnertime, so I headed to the mess hall. I opened the door and everyone got silent and stared at me. I didn't think much about it. I skipped to the table I usual sat at, which consists of the Shingashina trio. Jean and Marco was usually there, but they only sat there because I sat there. Since I was late, they sat a different table. I saw Mikasa saved some food for me, which was a relief but the food's horrible. The soup's really watery and the bread is stale. I wish I had some butter or salt. But, apparently that's rare in the walls so I can't afford it. I sat down right across from Eren and beside Armin. "Why's everyone staring at you Basil?" Eren asked as he takes a bite of his stale bread. I shrug as I take a spoonful of soup, then grimacing. Suddenly, Sasha was at my other side, eyeing my food. I sigh as I push my soup towards her. She squeals and started to scarf the food down. I don't understand how she can eat that and think it's good. Sorry to the people who prepared this food, but it's just awful, who taught you how to cook? "Maybe because Basil almost took the titan dummy's head off." Mikasa said plainly. "Jeez, these people are exaggerating it. It just only got to the wood and stopped!!" I said as I ate the soup. "Whaf wfe tawkwing afout?" Sasha asked, mouthful of bread. Where did she get the bread? I look to my plate and gasp, my bread wasn't there. "Sasha!" I cried as I looked at my empty plate. Sasha looked down in shame and pulled some bread off. "Sowwy... I couldn't help it..." Sasha apologizes. I sigh as I eat it. "We're talking about why everyone is staring at Basil." Armin explains to Sasha. "Maybe because my girl is beautiful!" Sasha said as she slings an arm around me. "Oh my gawd you're going to make me blush." I said, mocking a girlish voice. "But still.... Basil DID almost take the head off the dummy... and this was the first time we're using the 3DMG." Eren said, taking a spoonful of soup. "I'm just too good! Get on my level noobs!" I said, laughing. "What does noobs mean?" Sasha asked me. "That's what I'm wondering." Armin asked, looking at me. "It's a..." I looked at them. "Never mind... you don't need to know." I mumble as I eat the rest of the bread. "Now I'm really curious." Sasha mumbles to herself. The bell for curfew rang out. "Well, looks like we're out of time. I'll see you tomorrow." I said, getting up and yawning. I wash my dishes and headed to bed. I saw Jean with Marco and Connie walking and I smiled evilly. I jumped onto Jean's back. "O-Oi!! Who the hell- Basil!?! Get off me!!" Jean yells as he tries to shake me off. "Giddy up horsie!!" I yelled, laughing. "FOR THE LAST TIME, I'M NOT A HORSE!!" Jean yells as he shakes harder. "Horsie?" Marco asked, questioning. "You don't know do you? Look closer at his face, it's so long! Long as a horse's!!" I said. Connie starts laughing and Jean sighs. "Horsie eh? Good one!!" Connie shouts as he raises his hand to high five me, laughing. I high five him back laughing. Jean huffs, knowing that nickname will last till the end of his days. I smile as I hug him. "But I love this Horsie! He's the best brother!" I said as I snuggle into his neck. I felt his neck get hot, I guess he's blushing? "Aww, Jean, you're blushing. You're not used to your sister's love?" Marco teases. "Sh-Shut up Marco!" Jean yells. I could feel the vibrations when he talks, since I was still snuggled up to his neck. "Now, to the female barracks!" I announce, pointing into the direction of the barracks. 'We're not allowed to go there!" Jean yells. "Oh... that's right... Welp! It can't be helped! Oo! That rhymed!!" I said as I hop off his back. "Goodnight Marco! Connie!" I said as I hugged them. When I pulled away from them, they were blushing. "Nighty night, Jean!" I said jumped on him, wrapping my legs around his waist and arms around his chest. "H-Hey!! What's with you and jumping on me!!" Jean yells and I giggle. "I love ya bro." I said as I jump off him. He sighs and ruffles my head. "Love ya too sis." Jean said. I heard obnoxious 'awws' from Connie and the other boys, except for Marco, Freckled Jesus respects us. I run off to my barracks. "Hey Mikasa!" I said as I shut the shared room door. "Hey." Mikasa said as she takes off her shirt. "Hey, what do you think of Jean?" I asked her, kinda annoyed that I had to ask her this. Can't Jean man up and ask Mikasa himself? Is it really that hard? "He's annoying. Eren hates him, so I would as well." Mikasa said as she gets changed into her night clothes. "Eh... he's a nice guy if you get to know him Mikasa. Take my word, that idiot is my brother!" I said as I take off the straps of my body. "I'll consider it. Night." Mikasa said as she got into her bed on the top bunk. I got changed and got to bed myself, careful of not revealing my golden eye.
