Chapter 10

*First person pov*

     Yaaaaaaaassssss!!!! We're learning how to use the 3DMG!!! I hum The Wolf that Fell in Love with Little Red Riding Hood (music above) as I wait in line to get my gear. It's been a few weeks since camp started. I've trained vigorously for this moment, to fly across the trees. And yay! I got a 4 pack! But not the point, I get to use the 3DMG!! I recieved mine and my eye sparkle in excitement. "YASSSSS!!!" I shout as I run around with the gear in my hands. "Guys, look!! I have the gear!!" I squeal as I hug it. I got along with nearly everyone. I usually hang out with the Shinganshina trio, Jean, Marco, Sasha, and Connie. Though, Ymir and Annie seemed to hate me... "That's great Basil!" Armin said, smiling. "What's so special about the gear? We all got gear." Jean said, coming up behind me. "Well that's because we worked hard to get to this point. Some people like you who can't appreciate it have no place here among us." Eren said. "Do you have something to say Jeager?" Jean growls. "Yeah, but you wouldn't be able to handle it Kirstein." Eren hisses. "Now, ladies, ladies, you wouldn't fight in front of a man like me and Mikasa so savagely?" I said. "YOU GOT IT WRONG!!! IT'S THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!!" They both yelled. "Well, we have bigger balls than you will ever have. Jean, remember the time I hopped on one foot on the railing of the bridge? While you were begging me to get down from there?" I said as I slung an arm around Mikasa. "I NEVER BEGGED!! I DIDN'T WALK ON THE RAILING BECAUSE I VALUE MY LIFE UNLIKE YOU AND JEAGER!!" Jean yells in my face. I laughed at Jean's outbrust. "Hey guys, calm down." Armin said, trying to defuse the situation. "Shadis is about to speak." Mikasa pointed out. We stood respectably as Shadis got ready to talk. Eren and Jean were glaring at each other in the corners of their eyes. "ALRIGHT SHITHEADS!!! YOU'RE GOING TO LEARN HOW TO USE THE 3DMG!!!" Shadis yells.

Time skip~

Shadis taught us all how to use them. "ALRIGHT!!! YOU ALL ARE USING YOUR 3DMG TO GET TO THE TITAN DUMMY 500 METERS NORTH FROM HERE!! WE COMMANDERS WILL BE ON HORSES AND WILL TAKE YOU TO THE INFIRMARY IF YOU FALL!!!" Shadis yells. We salute all of them. "Yessir!!" We shout. "BEGIN!!" Shadis yells and I was the first one to act first. I hooked onto the tree while the other trainees were fumbling to figure out which button was which. Now... Gase. I clicked on the gas and I propell forward. "WOOOHOOO!!!" I shout as I fly through the trees. It took a while for me to get used to it and get started, but I got the hang of it. I stopped using gas because I didn't need to, I was going fast enough. At this point, I'm just swinging tree to tree and maintaining speed by using little gas as possible. I did a front flip in the air lauging. I saw the commanders on the horses, trying to keep up with me. I heard some faint zipping behind me, so I knew some of the trainees were behind me. I'm going to get there first!! I boost off of a branch to go faster. I saw the commanders I spot the wood titan dummy up ahead. I smirk to myself and got out my blades, even though we weren't supposed to use them. I hook onto the branch above the titan and swung towards the titan at a face speed. I lock onto the cushion on the neck of the titan, where you slice. "HAAAAAAAAAH!!!" I cry as I sliced the neck. I didn't see how deep the cut went until I heard cracking. It sounded like cracking of the wood. I turned my body around middair. "Eh?" I land on the ground so I can get a clear view, but my landing wasn't as graceful. I fell on my hands and knees from the impact. I dust myself off and looked at the titan head. My slice got to the wood! It only got a little... but Shadis is going to kill me! "I OVERDID IT!!!" I shout, panicking. How did I do that?! Oh god, Shadis is going to kill me!! Can I just fix it..? NO I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME BEFORE THE COMMANDERS AND THE TRAINEES COME!! Do I just lie that I just got here and I didn't see anything? WAIT NO!!! THEY'LL CHECK IF THE BLADES HAVE BEEN USED!!! Uh... ditch the blades? AGGHHH!! THEY'LL COUNT THE BLADES I HAVE AND SEE I'M MISSING SOME!!! What do I do!?!?!?! I don't want to die!!! I just ended up ditching the blades. I'll just say I lost the blades while I was flying, and say I just got here. Then again... I'm not that good at lying. It's a miracle that people bought my lie about me coming from Shinganshina and witnessing my family die in front of me. I sigh as I walk back to the blades and retrieved them. It'll never work... they'll know no matter what. Wait! Maybe I can sharpen the blades so it looks like they never been used.... that's stupid. I have nothing to sharpen the blades with. I might as well accept my fate. I sighed as I shoved my blades in my spare blades holsters. I wait for the other trainees. It didn't take long for them to get here, and oh my god their graceful landings.... it was hilarious. Mikasa stumbled when she landed but she didn't fall. Connie and Sasha literally belly flopped onto the ground. Jean landed on his face, sliding a bit. Eren landed with his butt up in the air. Armin's and Marco wasn't that bad, they landed on their hands and knees. Reiner, Annie, Bertholdt landed with one knee on the ground. Ymir landed first then caught Krista midair. I laugh at Connie's, Sasha's, Jean's, and Eren's graceful fall. "WHAT WAS THAT!?!?! AHAHA THAT WAS HILARIOUS!!!!" I yell as I laughed hysterically. "Sh-Shut up!! I bet you weren't any better!!" Jean yells, a little dirt on his face. I shake my head laughing. I calmed down and took out my handkerchief. I wiped the dirt off of Jean's face. "Sorry, sorry, but it was funny watching you eat dirt." I said, chuckling. Jean blushes out of embarrassment and tsks. I heard clanging behind me, startling me. "Look up." Mikasa announces, pointing at my handiwork. "Wh-What the!?" Armin shouts as he looks at the neck. The commanders, who arrived not too long ago, examines the dummy by taking it down. "It was cut about half way... who could have done this?" A commander said, looking among us trainees. I try sneaking away, since everyone was occupied with the titan dummy. "The only one who was here before us was..." Eren said as I felt eyes bore into my head. I turn around, nervously laughing. "Ehehehe... it's a pleasent day, isn't it?"

(A/N: PLEASE READ!!! Basil may seem like a mary sue, but you can say I'm being realistic. Our timeline and the attack on titan timeline, you can clearly tell that we are more advanced. Physically, intelligence, pretty much everything is more advanced than the attack on titan timeline. So what I'm trying to say that a difficult task in the attack on titan timeling, is just an average everyday task in our lives.)
