Chapter 63

*First person pov*

     "Dammit!" I cursed to myself as Annie starts running away, glaring at her. "Man... at this rate we'll get ourselves all killed and she's going to escape..." The woman who treated me said, but I didn't pay any attention to her. I was just so freaking mad, I swear I saw steam coming off of me. Wait... Steam? I looked to my leg to see steam coming off of it... and my wound closing up at a rapid speed. Wait... don't tell me I have titan healing powers! Yes! That explains why when Levi had broken my thumb and it healed right away! I'm so stupid!! I feel my ribs coming back together, and everything else. I toss the crutch, since I don't need it anymore because I can walk now. "H-Hey!" The woman yelled as she caught the crutch and I started running in the direction where Annie went. "Thank you!!" I yelled behind my back, and kept running. I rip off all the bandages off of my now healed wounds and kept running. I spot a dead body, with in tact 3DMG surprisingly. My straps weren't broken, so I guess I could use the 3DMG. That would be so helpful. I strip it off of the man, giving it a silent thank you and prayer. I put it on, and started using it. I kept flying, trying to find where Annie went. I spot her fighting my comrades. I make a sharp turn and headed in the direction. "ANNIE!!! FREEZE!!" I tried to command her, and it worked. But, her hand was already crystallized and covering the neck. I land on the roof of a building, and Armin, Jean, and Mikasa landed on the same one. "Basil! Where did you come from!? I thought you were injured!" Jean exclaimed. "Apparently I just learned I have the regeneration of a titan.... I don't know how I didn't figure it out when Levi broke my thumb then it healed up. But right now, we have to carve Annie out. It won't take long for her to activate her superconscious." I said, then hooking onto her shoulder. I reeled in to her neck, then I tried to pry the hand of her neck. "Dammit! Guys, give me a hand here!" I yelled to my comrades, and they all flew, and they just did all the damage they could do to Annie. Annie finally broke free and knocked all of us away into buildings, just anywhere. She was having a hard time regenerating, but she could still move. "Dammit!!" I yelled as I took off after her again, since she literally slapped me away. All of a sudden, I heard a roar and thumping foot steps. I looked to see Eren! He's in his titan form! Finally! He was going after Annie, and since she was going so slow, she got punched into a building. "Eren!" Armin yelled in relief beside me, since he was flying near me. Eren started running after Annie again, with a humongous roar. Annie recovered quickly, then running in the other direction, Eren following. "Follow them!" I heard someone shout and we followed after them. We landed on the roof, and it looked like Jean, and Hanji joined us this time. We watched as Eren runs by us. "Looks like he's in control of himself this time around." Hanji said, watching him. "Yes. But Eren has yet to win once against the Female Titan." Armin replied, and Hanji turned to us. "If he's transformed, it means he's gotta be ready for the worst. He won't lose eas-" Jean said, but Armin cuts Jean off. "Spirit alone can't win a fight. You know that first-hand." Jean looks down, and Armin looks in the direction Annie is running, which you can see a small fleeting figure of her. "Surpassing Annie... Will require more!" Armin said, and I looked at him. "Then what should we do!? Saying what Eren should do won't make it happen!" I said to Armin. "I don't know... Eren's the one who should figure this out... it's his fight." Armin said, then taking off. "H-Hey!" I yelled, and we followed after him. We caught up to Annie and Eren, and they were running to level ground. "She's heading for level ground!" "We can't use our 3DMG there!" some people shout, and Hanji landed on the roof shouting commands. "Split into two teams and go around!!" Hanji commanded, and we do so, I took left with Armin and Jean. I look all around at the city... there was smoke everywhere... caused by none other than Annie. It's all her fault. I spot Eren and Annie, facing off in battle stance. I saw Eren try to land a hit on Annie, but she blocked his punch by crystallizing her elbow and elbowing the fist... which made no sense at all why someone would do that but it worked. Annie tried to kick Eren, but he caught her leg and tossed her into the buildings. She leaned onto the building in pain, but her little session didn't last long because Eren came through the buildings trying to tackle Annie. She dodged him, and ran away. "Oh man... Section leader." I heard someone said, walking up to Hanji. "Even if we catch the Female Titan, the city's going to end up in ruins!" The guy said to Hanji. "That's not our concern. This is Erwin's decision. Ready the recapture nets." Hanji commanded. "Yes!" The guy replied, then running off. We went after Eren and Annie, who was still fighting as hard as they can. We found them standing off against each other, and Eren makes the first move by trying to punch Annie. Annie crystallizes her leg and kicks Eren's leg, cutting it off completely below the knee. "Ooo... He needs some milk." I said to myself, wincing. Even with Eren's leg cut off, he still landed the punch on Annie. Eren falls to his knees as Annie gets punch away, but maintaining her ground. She stood there for a couple of seconds, letting her face regenerate. Eren tries to pounce on Annie again, but she crystallizes her leg and kicked Eren in the face into the building. A shockwave from when Eren got kicked into the building and I had to cover my face. I see Annie tried to pull her leg out but Eren was biting on, not letting it go. Annie growls as her hand turns into crystal and started smashing Eren's face in, blood going everywhere. Somewhere in that time, Eren lost his arm, and it seemed like Eren lost because he wasn't giving up. Annie seems satisfied with her work and she starts running away, toward the wall to escape. "After her!" I yelled, as I followed after her with my 3DMG.
