Chapter 58

*First person pov*

     I stirred awake in the morning... feeling movement beside me. I turned onto my side to see LEVI. He's actually sitting right next to me! I thought he wouldn't come to bed at all... he's so close to me! I squeak silently then burying my head into my hands, it's so embarrassing! I feel Levi move and then pulled me close in his sleep... THIS IS BECOMING LIKE A LEVI FANFICTION OH MY GOD!! Holding my waist close to his body, so that our bodies were practically touching, and he buries his head into my neck. I could feel the heat rise up into my cheeks, turning redder as every breath touches my neck. NOPE! NOPE! NU-UH, NOPE! SCREW THIS CRAP I'M OUT!! I quickly grabbed my eye patch and put it on, just in case Levi wakes up. I slowly and carefully remove his arms from my body... well, more like pry his hands from my body. He's got an a iron, no, steel hard grip. I hear Levi groan softly in his sleep then pulling me back in like a black hole, causing my blush to spread across to my ears. SHOOT!! I pry his hand off of my arm that was pulling me back in, then scrambling away. "Jeez... who knew the humanity's strongest is clingy in his sleep..." I mumbled, then getting up to get ready before the others got up.

Time skip a few days~

     We made it back to the HQ, and everyone like Sasha and Connie was sobbing over me and stuff. Then beat the crap out of me after words for scaring them. Me, Eren, and Levi were sitting in the mess hall. But it seems.... empty. Maybe... maybe because they aren't there. You know... Petra... and the others. We were waiting for Erwin to discuss something with us. "They're slow. Erwin and the others... making me wait... I'll be escorted out by the Military Police at this point." Levi said, taking a sip of his tea before continuing. "If I were to take a guess, he's probably dealing with constipation." Levi said, glaring at the door. "Captain Levi, you're rather talkative today." Eren muses beside me. "Don't be ridiculous. I've been always been quite talkative." Levi said, and I pulled out my phone in secret and pulled up the song that best fits this situation.

     Eren jumps up, startled. "Where is that coming from!? Did you hear that!?" Eren yelled, looking around frantically. "Tch, I heard it. Whoever's in here, come out you little shit." Levi growled. "Huh? What are you guys talking about? I didn't hear anything." I said, crossing my arms and gave them a look like they are crazy. "I-Er- Nevermind..." Eren said, blushing out of embarrassment and sat down. "Tch." Levi said, darting his grey eyes all around to find the source of that wonderful song, drinking more of his tea. Levi then grunts, holding his left leg and I look at him in confusion. I realized why he was. Oh yeah... he got injured protecting Mikasa from the Female Titan. "I'm sorry... It's only because I made the wrong choice back then..." Eren grips his pants. "Now we're in this situation." Eren said, remorse in his voice. "I'm sorry too..." I said as I lied my head on the table. "I've said this already. The result is a complete mystery." Levi said, then the door opens. Eren stands up to see who was at the door. "Apologies for the delay." A voice said... definitely Erwin. "It's fine." Eren said, then looking around. "You guys..." I finally turned my head to look who it was. It was Erwin, Jean, Mikasa, Armin, and two other people. "U-Um..." Eren stuttered. "We've found a suspect who's believed to be the Female Titan." Erwin announced. "Seriously? Who is it?" I asked Erwin, even though I know who it is but hey, I'm not supposed to know. I'm not supposed to know anything. "We'll definitely apprehend them this time." Erwin announced. The two other people in the room spread a map on the table... it looked like a map of a district. But I don't know which, all the districts look the same. We gathered around to look at the map. The other person passed out papers, I don't know what the hell was on the paper. It all had these big words on there, it was like a different language. I may be 16 in this body, but I have a mind of a 13 year old... BECAUSE I AM 13. "Our plan is for the day after tomorrow, as we pass through Stohess District on our way to our appearance in the capital. It'll be our first and only opportunity. If we fail, Eren and Basil will be handed over to the authorities, making it difficult to pursue the ones who are plotting to destroy the wall. It could even increase the likelihood of human's annihilation. We will stake everything on this operation." Erwin said, and Eren nodded but I raised my hand. "Um... I could understand why Eren would be handed over to the authorities but why me? I pose no threat to mankind... just only to titans." I said, confused. "It's because you're suspected of being a witch. There has been a law passed to ban witch hunts and witch burnings, but your power sparks a fear in everyone that you're a witch... and highly suspected of being a witch." Erwin explained, and I shivered. "This is bad... so we can't fail this operation." I said, and Erwin nodded. "The operation will go like this. Eren will act as an decoy as we're passing through Stohess District, and lead the target to this underground passage way." Erwin said, pointing at some red markings on the map that indicate where everything will take place. "Once drawn inside, the limited space and strong walls will allow us to contain the target even if she transforms into a titan. But, she won't transform because Basil will be waiting in the tunnels and once the target gets underground, she will run to restrain her with her demands, and it'll be easy for us to contain the target." Erwin said, looking at me and I nodded. "But there is an unlikely chance she turns into a titan before that, we'll have to rely on the both of you, Eren, Basil." Erwin explained. "Yessir." We both answered at the same time. "Are we certain that the target is in the Stohess District?" Eren continues. "Yes. Our target is a member of the Military Police." Erwin answered. "The Military Police?" Eren asked Erwin. "Armin was the one who figured that out." Eren turned his face to look at Armin. "We believe the Female Titan is the one who killed the two captured titans. Possibly a member of your 104th Training Corps." Erwin said seriously. "Oi oi... There was only one person who joined the Military Police and if it's true..." I trailed off, pretending to have a horrified expression. "What!? J-Just a minute!! The 104th..?" Eren stuttered, horror in his eyes. "Don't joke like that Commander, my heart can't take it." I said, holding my heart in pretend hurt. "The one we believe to be the Female Titan is a woman named..." Erwin trailed off, looking each and every one of us in the eyes seriously. I swear, the intensity that sparked between our eyes was real. I took a sip of my tea, to draw attention from his eyes because... my god. "H-Hold on..." Eren said, right before Erwin said it, horrified. "Annie Leonhart."
