My alarm went off at 6:30.
It was late start, but my mom lives a half an hour away from the school, so it's never really late start for me. I turned over and smacked my phone off the bed, somehow turning off the alarm in the process.
"MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.........." I groaned. "Can I just not go to school??"
She laughed and yelled back "If you don't go to school I don't go to work."
Dammit. I ungraciously crawled out of bed and over to the bathroom. I accidentally left my hair in a french braid last night, but we didn't actually get home and stay home until 2:30am.
My mom and I had dropped off my brother at my dad's because he had left his car there while in Wisconsin with us. He called at like 12:10 and said that his car got stuck and he was halfway between houses. My mom had me get out of bed and help, and when we couldn't get the car unstuck, we waited yet another hour for a tow truck.
So yeah, I'm functioning on 4 hours of sleep.
I got to school and plopped into the bleachers to wait to be dismissed.

Math was so boring I swear I started to fall asleep. I'm fairly good at math, but I hate it nonetheless. The day went by as a blur, and all my teachers were being nice because someone had told them about my grandpa. I didn't want sympathy, I just wanted to get through the day.
Most teachers thought of me as the good girl with a bad side, who was actively involved in school activities, and positive most of the time.
On the other hand, the rest of the school thought I was a bitch.
In reality, I'm actually a decent person as long as you don't get on my nerves.
My friend Kax was genuinely worried about me, and he brought me a muffin. The first time I met Kax was in my history hour. I was talking to my friend Sean about a book we read over the summer for language arts, and I asked him the simple question of
"Portugese Man of War are jellyfish, right?"
and Kax turned around so fast I swear he could have gotten whiplash.
"Wait.....Did you just say that the Portugese are made of war and jellyfish?!?"
Sean and I looked at each other, looked at him, and just started laughing our asses off. James was sitting next to Kax, and he told Kax what I had actually said. He facepalmed and apologized to me and introduced himself.
Ever since, I tell him happy messages I come up with on the spot, randomly think of things and tell him, and he's one of the best friends I have.

I'm in band and pretty involved in colorguard. I had winter guard practice today after school, and it was great until Rachel and Kate told Nevaeh and I that our hand placement was wrong. It was exactly how they showed us to do it the first time......?!?!
Some people stayed later but Nevaeh and I left at four.
"What the fuck was that?!" Nevaeh screeched.
"I know, that's how they taught it to us and now they're telling us we're wrong??? They're no different than the other girls that helped during the fall."
And with that, we parted ways to go home.

Things have been a little rocky with Jade lately, and I'm honestly not sure how it's gonna end. She never talks to me, she's always condescending and sarcastic while talking to me, and I just don't know anymore.
I heard a notification from snapchat.
*Snapchat from Joobdoob <3*
I checked it, and it was a chat from a photo on my story.
"I thought you said you didn't get home until 2:30"
i rolled my eyes.
"I didn't."
Our fight continued, and she yelled at me and told me "we were never really friends" "i'm done with your shit, we're not friends anymore."
Wow. Feels great losing a someone you thought was your best friend.
Fuck.
